everyday calling my business phone. Always hang up when i answer

Also getting these everyday with hang ups, please find out who they are so I can take care of them!

The lady called my number in Maryland and said she was from a Labor Board calling about a complaint. When I questioned exactly what office she was calling from she said, I told you already where I was calling from. She then hung up. Sounds like a sales call to me.

Very rude man called regarding labor regulations.  When I told him I am on the federal do not call list and to take me off the list, he just kept going on and on.  I finally got him to say he would take me off the list. I am reporting the number with a complaint.

This is a SCAM.  Please anyone who can determine the name of this company I will file a BBB complaint and sue them for $500 violation in small claims court.  

The caller claims they are from a labor board following up on a complaint.  The complaint is that labor law posters are not posted in the business.  Conveniently they sell said posters.

The number displayed on caller Id is fake.  

They hung up on me once they realized I was on to their scam.  Anyway please attempt to determine the ID of this company and post it here.  Thanks.

Called me with the same scam.  To get a real number,  I took a message for the "owner". and they gave me  a call back number - 888 562 0999..  It's located in Clearwater FL (727 area code) and this is their MO.

Called our business and asked for owner when I asked what the call was in regards to, they said the labor laws.  I asked if they were trying to sell something and they said no.  I told them I thought they were (since it came up Florida on the caller id and we are not in FL), and that they need to take the number off of their list and hung.  They called back so I hung up on them.  They proceeded to call back six more times and hang up on me.

We were called as well (I posted a comment above).  In searching this number more, I think I found their company information.  Please see:

SCAM!!!!!! i got dooped by "Matt Burns"  Saying that he was calling in Reguards to Federal Labor Law Posters for my employees...i don't have employees... Dont give them a penny! just reading what has been posted above described what happend to me to the T.

Am sick of calls from this number and others.  When I made it clear I wanted NO sales calls, she hung up on me.

I dont answer calls when I dont recognize the number.  If it is an important call they will leave a message with a call back number. These people always hang up as soon as the recorder begins.

I just got off the phone with Matthew Burns.  i have become sceptical after the yellow pages online scam they almost got me, so i googled him and his business....Is it a scam because he never supplies the poster or is it a scam because you can get these for free??
Why is nobody going after scammers?  If the BBB really wanted to end this new kind of stealing they would set up their own "new" small business and the crooks would call them 500 times and day and they would do little work to catch them...  but hey lets just leave it up to the people really working to have to try to end this problem.

I recently opened a new business and was scared when led to believe I was in violation and must pay a licsencing fee to receive the posters and meet federal regulations.  They said they had been trying to get a hold of me and I being new to the business world bought their claims of compliance requirements. I have contacted my bank but don't know if I will see a dime of the "license fee" I was duped into paying for. I am sorry for my own nievety and hope no one else has to go through this mess.
