727-732-8295 just called. Caller ID said NAME NOT FOUND. It was a recording of Lisa from Card Services calling about my credit card account and wanting me to push 1 to be connected to a live credit specialist. Same old credit card scam but this is the first time they have used this number to call from.

727-732-8295 just called and left no message. Google searches say it's from Alaska. Didn't know they were telemarketing from there...  Just another criminal.

    Retired Amex Customer Service Rep
Answered call, got an automated message stating they were calling regarding my credit card and changes to it and policy.
I'm a former American Express call center customer service rep - I KNOW what information you're supposed to tell the person you are trying to reach in the automated message.
Pressed 9, waited less than 5 minutes and was put on with a representative. Female, spoke clear English (sad to say, but this should be a SERIOUS RED FLAG FOR PEOPLE! Very few outbound calls come from the US based call centers, and yes, in the credit card industry they have outsourced nearly all these types of jobs to other countries). Refused to give name of credit card company, refused to give her name, refused to place me on the phone with a supervisor. When I quoted various legal policies to her regarding credit cards, and especially policies people like me had to learn in the early stages of training, she began to fall off script.
Up until that point, she kept trying to press me for my name, social, and bank information.
    RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE!
If she were legit, she would have asked for specific verification information ONLY AFTER CONFIRMING THERE IS AN ACTIVE ACCOUNT. There are also often security questions in place that if answered incorrectly will flag the call in the system and notify the higher ups about potential fraud.
DO NOT GIVE THE PEOPLE ON THIS LINE YOUR INFORMATION. THEY ARE NOT LEGIT!!!

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

I just received a call from the same number. I didn't answer because I only know one person from Florida, and I didn't recognize this particular number. No message was left, so I called it back, only to get a message that says "this is not a working number." I don't know how that's possible, but I assume it's a number used for scamming purposes too.
