I am an eBay seller and have been for 6 years. This guy just sent me an email with instructions on how to sell a booster pack of Magic The Gathering cards for him. He sent a photo, instructions on how to list the item and said to do a Buy It Now for $10,000. I believe it would sell for that, by the way. He said when i get paid to put $5000 in his paypal at his email address, which is salesandsupport@sellitforme.info, and that i could keep the other $5000 myself, he will ship the item. If you fall for this you will not only lose your identity and your ebay account, but you will no doubt be found and charged with grand theft. The phone number 727-748-9770 is a Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida land line number. I just did a name search for that number and there is no name attached to it (whitepages.com). He says his name is Michael Waters, which may or may not be true, probably another stolen identity.

Unreal, I just received the same email again, this time signed MRS. JENNIFER WHITE, she said CALL ME NOW.

UPDATE; MESSAGE FROM ANOTHER SELLER.  My son answered an ad on Craigslist to sell for these people and this is a scam. I was able to give the money back before anything bad happened, but now I have all kinds of fees owning on my ebay account. Once they realize you have found them out they stop all contact with you.

UPDATE; MESSAGE FROM THE SCAMMER TO THE SCAMMED. Since it's your first time selling on ebay for me, I'll let you keep $800 and send the rest to me. I'd want to be paid with these 10 Magic the gathering cards. On ebay the buy it now is: $4,192.72 for this auction which I'd really like to have. I'll need you to purchase this auction right now with your $5,000 before someone else does, deliver it's goods to my niece at the address below. Next time, I'll let you keep 50% in commission on what ever I've got for sale next time and you'll pay me with Paypal. This time you have made $800. Next time it will be $2,500. This is the only time that I ask you to purchase these cards for me that I'd like to have, and when I'd receive them, then I'll immediately mail out the Magic the gathering beta booster box.

This is most definitely a scam that this person has been trying to run on Craigslist for some time - and the posts are repeatedly removed for months, but these people just keep posting again to catch anyone who may see it before it's removed.  The price for the items is suspiciously low and the poor person who takes the job places themselves at risk of losing their eBay and or PayPal account once the scam is set in place.

Ask yourself a couple of questions:
(1) If this is such a great easy-money opportunity, why are they sharing it?  
(2) If it is legitimate, why aren't they doing it themselves?

I just fell for daniel2011 scam witk my account (idiot me) thankfully i got an email from someone telling me all about him.so i told the winning bidder not to send the money and that it was a scam. It know says i owe ebay $100. hopefully i can still keep my account

I call this number and he quickly got me off the phone now after reading all of the above I know he is also scamming people beware he is posting on craigslist pretending to be a doctor...

i just got the email from dr daniel brown from florida and said the same thing but how does the scam work beta booster packs magic the gathering

For folks like ebay seller Frank - do your self a favor.  Register as a user.  That makes your name appear in blue and gives you a monster (avitar).  It makes it harder for someone else to post under your name.  

As far as I can tell, every post that says "I don't think it is a scam", "Nevermind, she's legit" or similar is a scammer, pretending to be the person they are trying to scam.

He is currnetly  fraudulently  using Dr Daniel Brown's ( a real  person, not involved with this) name, and website, for his sellthisforme.info scam.

He has a long list of numbers and names, and email addresses

I agree, plus if you look up his domain name it is registered to someone else at a P O box. If this is so good, why would he want to share the profit I think he ships it to himself writes the review, gets the money then calls pay pal and disputes the transaction. Don't let anyone use your pay pal, that is money laundering

This guy has just started to contact me and I looked up the web page and then googled and found this site.  Thank you for the heads up...His new number he is using is 850-559-7194 but called from 727-748-9770.  I won't be taking his call.

I got the same thing;. he called me twice and his number changed twice to what you said. it has to be a scam. i told him straight up on the phone im a christian and if its selling junk i wont do it, he never gave me straight up answers. I WOULDNT DO IT. 500 dollars a day to post things on ebay for him. he  said you need ebay account and bank account. SOUNDS fishy I wouldnt do it. especially doing something on ebay for that much money everyday. sounds like a SCAM to me. cant prove it. just giving you my OPPINION. but I WOULDNT try it.

I received a text from this number last night. I responded wanting to know who this was. I then received a text about what he was looking for and directing me to the site sellitforme.us . He then said do not text him because it is very annoying but I could call. I did not call however, I received a call at 7:07 am this morning and when I looked at the number I recognized it was the 727 number listed on this site. I picked up and asked who is this - he stated this is Daniel. I told him to get off the phone and never to contact me again. I also sent a text stating the same and that he should be reported to the feds for continuing this scam. He used the name Daniel Young in the former text message he sent.

Thank you guys for all the info before I fell in the trap as well, I posted an ad in Craigslist looking for work when supposedly Mr. Brown M.D contacted me via text 6 times telling me to sell his baseball cards on line the exact thing you guys were saying its all a scam ,I replied to him saying I was reporting him so hopefully I blew his cover . Thanks a lot hopefully someone else reads this before the fall in the trap and lose money.
