Called and left no message. Blocked on my phone. These people call back to back within minutes changing the number.

this is the first call that came in @ around 4:00 which I did not answer Between that time and now, 8PM,   I took a couple of calls from unrecognized callers who used the "special" ring number which I give out selectively.  But from 7:45 until now, I've received  8 "out of area" and "Unavailable" calls , one on top of the other , which rings once then gets disconnected because I've blocked all calls which have no written name attached to it on Caller ID. I realize that international callers and still some national callers use cell phones  without written identification, but unfortunately that's the way it is. I will no longer invite constant disruption into my life by constant interruptions of the phone ringing when it's mostly spam scam & spoofed telemarketing scum robo calls -which have taken over the phone lines.  when these calls come in they are disconnected immediately. If they are legitimate callers, I'm sorry, we both loose. I run a small business from my home and have done for 20 years and it is 100% referral based. However, it's what's happened to us, being put into the position of never answering the phones because of  a telecommunications system which does not protect nor serve it's  residents  or small business owners. If the caller is "unavailable" or "out of area" they will never reach me nor will they have the ability to leave a message. Party's over.  Too bad so sad

ID says caller, called business without leaving message. now I just don't pick up calls from out of my local area.

Recorded message, "Hi this is Emily your Google..."

727-777-5372 just called our business after hours. Caller ID shows up as New Port Ric FL. It's an illegal robocaller that says "Hi, this is Emily, and I'm contacting you to update your Google Business page, as you have some information that may be incorrect. Press 1 to speak to a live representative. blah blah blah". Pressed 1 just to see what would happen. The call transfers, then starts to ring, then a machine picks up stating that no one is available to take the call. Adding the number to our block list and reporting the call as fraudulent.

801 879-8895:  Number called many times: Didn't get though to any live person.  Is blocked and will remain blocked. for good. smile
Have a nice day and get a good phone blocker, one that really blocks the number and does not allow it to get to a live person or voice mail.
They hear this: " The number you dialed has been disconnected" Click hang up: Do your research people it.s all available.

They called the other day and I blocked the call to go straight to voice mail. They called again so they got voice mail, I like your blocker that says "the number you have dialed has been disconnected" I'm checking into this!

727-777-5372 keeps calling our office.  When we pick it up no one is ever there and it just hangs up.  This is at least 5 times a day.  How do we stop them?  I called the number and it says to press 1 to get off the call list and it never works.  It is just annoying.

FAKE. They are pretending to be Google Listings, I told them that my business was closed and I would like to remove my account and the guy yelled at me and then hung up on me.

Yesterday I got almost a dozen calls on my cell!
While I write this here (8:54 am PST 12/16/15) I already received another three such calls!
This is so tiring, disruptive and damaging to my business.

What kind of lower-than-pond-scum bottom feeders are these Dufuses?
Why can't law enforcement do something?
Why can't the FBI look into this?
Why can't such businesses or individuals be fined a stiff sum for abusing telecom?

We can fine people when they disobey/abuse traffic rules,  why can those CSMF not be fined?
After all I, we all have the proof they called!
When I test call back anonymous via VoIP often the same announcement as from many other numbers comes:
All our operators are busy. If you want to remove your number and add it to the DNC list "press 1",
if you want to remove another number and add it to the DNC list "Press 2"

Now if you wait a few seconds the announcement comes: "Your number has been removed"

Yeah right.... and Santa Claus is real too.
Quite obvious that there is the same organization or individual behind it.

Lastly, what if this an ISIS operation accumulation numbers to build a recruiting data base?
Why not look into it, law enforcement!?

From now on I will label them all as [Caller Company] ISIS recruiters. Hopefully someone will take notice!

yep, they're calling again and have been throughout December.  the weather must really suck in New Port Ric FL to be sitting inside all day dialing those of us stuck living in the Northern Territories. If I lived in FL I'd be at the beach & in the water  not holed up in some pit doing nothing more than a slime ball. of course I'm being facetious, they're probably calling from China who I doubt is recruiting for ISIS

Saw the number, just sent to VM because I couldn't answer.  Yay.  I dodged another BS call!  Blocked.
