no answers

received call from 727-789-0006 at work.  message left from "Danielle" at OpenText.  this IS a legitimate vendor of IT solutions that I am aware of, but do not currently do business with.  she called to remind me of an upcoming event (that I'm not attending).  

if no message was left with anyone else receiving a call from this number, it could be that it was a sales call to a residential number.  these are typically recognized by the caller and thus no message is left.  just guessing, but it seems reasonable.

called for employee that has not been with us for 6 years.
when i informed her of this, or as i was trying to, she became very rude and hostile and kept interupting me.
when i kept trying to find out whom she needing to speak with , all she would do was interupt me.
when i finally got a straight answer of what she was attempting-push software-i asked we be taken off the list, at which point she saud that "i" was being rude and started laughing maniacally.
what on earth ?

I received a call  from Christie of LexisNexis something about business continuity (left a voice mail and call back number of 800-230-8236).  
Interesting that earlier in this thread writer indicated the call was from OpenText.
Both are legitimate solution providers but are entirely unrelated to each other with unrelated product / service offerrings as well.  
Perhpas this is some central marketing / sales call number that is shared among multiple (potential) vendors?

727-789-0006 no answer call drops

Just received the phone call. Did not catch the name. Pushing software. I looked this number up while I was on the phone and I told her I am reporting them to the "NO CALL" in NY and she hung up immediately. I have sent the number and company to NO CALL in NY and I hope they get fined.

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to VM. I am the IT Admin for a small remanufacturing co. in Illinois. Upon playing it back, the caller identified himself as Brian Jackson from LLS and stated they were a subsidiary of IBM storage solutions and could be contacted at 888 214-3196 and were located in Peoria IL.
