I also have been receiving repeated calls. One that was just twenty minutes ago. Stating I had a loan that I didn't repay. I stated that I would like to speak with this company I have a loan with. He told me that i'm not allowed to speak to them. That I should get an attorney and have mine contact him. I said I was not going to give out any information, and that he is not going to call and speak to me in the manner that he has been. He has a thick middle eastern accent. Hard to understand. Then he said that he was going to throw me in jail. If I wanted to go to court, it was going to cost me 8,000 in fees that I would have to pay back. Is this a scam?

I keep getting threatening calls wishing me goodluck from a man with a middle east accent also saying I took out a loan in which I didn't. Please help.

Yes these are a scam.  I called the government offices and they informed me also that it is a text book scam but if the have your checking info you should have an alert put on your bank account just to be safe.  I spoke to another company who said that they change their name frequently and that the only way they want payment is to pay by western union or pay pac so it can't be traced.  That is also why the short period of time for repayment.  I was advised by the government agency to file complaints through www.ic3.gov

i had gotten that call this morning, too. It was middle eastern male with a heavy accent, and made a threat about if i don't pay up, i will be arrested. Man, times are TOO HARD for this stupidity, for real? How did they get my number?

I received a call yesterday - same as above - It was info they found on the internet cuz I applied for a payday loan - scam, scam, scam.

I received a call moments ago. Stating I would be thrown in Jail. No reference as to why. Tried calling back the number and they would not speak. Scam. How do I protect myself? whoever it is has my SSN.

They call me everyday they even called my job telling them to fire me its crazy I don't know what to do they say they gone pick up ny child and everything this same man. This is unbelievable I need help.

I got the same calls. Saying they are sending a supena to my work. That I defaulted on a loan. I just emailed the Florida attorney genral to see what the deal is.

I just recieved a call from a thick mid-eastern accent, man, stating that he was from a law firm and you can barely understand him.  He asked if i was the person he was calling for and even had my last four digits of my social security number to verify.  Stated to me that I had a lawsuit filed against me and my SS# and need the address of my work to send the legal documents.  I stated i did not have a work address and he proceeded to tell me to "Kiss my A$$" and hung up the phone.  I called back and tried to speak to someone I could understand and they hit a couple of the telephone numbers to make a transfer noise and I stated I wanted to speak to a person regarding my phone number and they again told me to "Kiss my A$$"  I do not know who this person or persons are, but this number and these people need to be stopped for harassment.

This is my issue as well, why do they have my SS #.  How can we protect ourselves?

I have been getting the same calls for quite a while now. The last time was today. And few months ago also. Same people, same accent (Indian from India or Pakistan), same story and same Threats... Absolutely annoying and out of control. How do they have all my info? Including my full name, ss#, work phone, etc...
How do I put an end to this nonsense?

i have been receiving ph calls from 727-827-8795 the guy said his name was andy and he has a law suit against my ss # i am disabled i cant afford to loose my check to these scamers, they were calling me 4-6 times a day i ketp blocking their ph number but they use a different number all the time all i did was require about fees with the loan e-mail i received but i had to give all my info to ask any questions then i had 30 phone calls saying im approved bla bla bla for $250 i said i do not waant it just want to know your fees? but they would not give any info to me,

what can be done without going to visit this guy,  lets go see him and teach him a lesson, his number comes up in st pettersburg fla, yesterday i filed a complaint with the fla atty general wonder if that does any good,
we really need to take this guy off this planet for good, i dont know how he got my other 2 ph numbers guess his mommah didnt teach him its not nice to screw people, he must have a sick mind, when i called his number all he said was law office, as we all know atty's dont answer the company phones like that, anyone have any ideas on how to get this guy quick???? i know the fla ag wont be that fast, but write her and ask for help fast, the more she gets the faster she gets off her duff

I keep calling them back, and repeat the threat they left on my machine.figure harder for them to call people if I have them on the line. Plus provides a little comic relief for me

i got a harrasing phone call from a man that says this is time sensitive, And says if i dont return the call and have my attorney call you will be in big trouble, god bless you and good luck, i am feeling stocked, saying there is a lawsuit that someone is going to sue me.

I received the same calls as the rest of you guys so I blocked my number, called them back giving a fake name saying I was a lawyer representing me (real name).   They told me to call back and hung up.   I waited a few and called back and got a different person but he said the same.   I doubt I will hear from them again.
