Keep getting calls. Does not answer phone or leave message. When I call back, I get a message that phone number cannot be reached.

I got a call from that number too.  Guy asked for a name like he was their best friend.  When I asked who he gave me his name like he was someone famus.  I asked again who and he just told me he would call back when that person was available.  I don't know why he acted so aggrevated with me, I did not know who he was or who he wanted.

I keep getting daily, (and nightly), hang up calls from 1-727-835-0201.  (A company with the initials of "WCS".)  What in the heck does that stand for?  The W**ker Chicken S***t Company?  LOL!

I would like to know who these losers are and what they want.

If I can find out what company these annoying jerks belong to, I'm going to give the data to my brother who's an attorney and to my best friend who's a police officer.  I'm ready to legally go after them with claws bared!  I've had enough and I'm fed up.

After many, many hang-ups, I answered. He claimed to be from some Fire Fighter organization. When I told him I couldn't contribute, to put me on his do not call list, he said hear me out--"check your smoke alarm batteries. I'm worried about your protection, not your money." Then, when I didn't say anything, and I guess he thought I'd hung up, he added something that went: There, don't you feel dumb for not listening.

Is anyone doing anything about this? It's not fraud, so where can we report it?

Received a call at 1110am, answered, nothing but dead silence.  I promptly dialed back the number, and received an automatic, recorded female voice response that number had been disconnected.  Tis is the first time I've received a call from this source.

Dont answer.  If you have given money to any police charity, they are selling your number to everyone.  I get calls daily from these people. Now I dont contribute to anyone anymore.  

I believe this is a firefighter org.   They are all rude if you dont contribute or ask too many questions.  Got hung up on by another charity yesterday when I started asking questions.  Most of them aren't the police or fire anyway, they hire firms to do the soliciting for them.

Here's a tip. I have an old fax machine. I hooked it up to the phone line and if I recognize the number or know it's a telemarketer, I let the fax pick up.  It annoys them and they stop calling.

Been getting daily calls for over two weeks. Answered a few and they ask to speak to my wife, won't talk to me or reveal their ID. Ask them to take my number off their list and they get rude. These started after my wife contributed to a state trooper association. Big mistake! Tip: If your phone has selectable rings... set to 'SILENT'. Just discovered this on my phone!

I answered and actually establish a very nice conversation with this prick that called. They are supposed to send me a "Support your local firefighter " sticker. Bad move on his part. I guess he will feel my support when they open a box full of my dog's crap.
