This group has been calling me every day, sometimes several times a day. Usually I ignore it, but when I pick up, there's usually no one there. Today, I picked up and got some guy who said he's from the Police Protective Fund. I asked him immediately to PLEASE take my name off the list and not call again, and he started to argue with me, telling me I've been a supporter in the past (true, I was once dumb enough to send them about $10) and he was "surprised," etc. etc. He just didn't want to give up!  I finally just hung up on him.

These people have been calling my house every day for three years now. I finally got fed up enough to find out who was really calling. "police protective fund" is actually a telemarketer run by ex-cons and the phone number is owned by Donna Harrington. The address is 6028 Pitner Drive, Holiday, Florida, 34690-2436. Do not give these people a dime, They are nothing but scammers.

These idiots called at 8:30 at night!  We have a small child and this was incredibly disruptive.  The guy on the phone just kept rambling while I had to basically scream at him to take us off his phone list.  Does anyone know who all I can report The Police Protective Fund to?  I just never want them to call again.

Right in the middle of telling the guy I wasn't able to contribute he abruptly hung up on me. I didn't even get the chance to complete the word contribute. And I know it's just a matter of time before they call back again looking for a donation.

Why don't we ask FTC to ivestigate and record the rudness of thir messages, I told him he had no manners and he hung up

Four calls came in from this number to our home on 4 October 2012.  The first three times, no one spoke, but stayed on the line until my wife hung up.  The fourth time the caller hung up first.  We are wondering if someone is checking the house to see if anyone is home.

I got this call after 7:00p.m. They didn't leave a message. On the caller ID Newport Rich Florida. I didn't answer the phone. I am not donating $hit and stop calling my damn house. I unplug my phone and turn the ringer off because I have cell phone that I give out to people I want to have it.

They have been calling my house too and how can I block them from calling

evidently, this is the worst type of deceitful "charity". they give almost nothing to the police widows and orphans.  i was duped by the fact that they claimed not to be a third party telemarketer.  in fact, that is just what they are.  they are in florida working off an old marketing list. my only question is, how is this a legal charity?

I saw The POL PRO on my caller ID and knowing no one from that name or number did not answer.  They did not leave a message so hopefully they will resist calling again - yes, I am dreaming but maybe not.  Since we caller ID, I don't answer unless I know the caller so I have much lower blood pressure and can just erase any message they are unkind enough to leave.

They called me again today and I ignored them. I have no clue as to how they even got my number as I am unlisted and am on a do not call list, but I never contribute to anyone who calls me over the phone and I have no idea who they really are.

If I want to support my local law enforcement I go to their webpage and see what's up. Do not give these people your information.

The only police I contribute to are my local police forces, not some bunch of scumbags from out of state that disrupt my household ringing my phone at all hours.

Just got a call from 727-842-8763. Did not leave a message. These guys call about every year. They are a big scam.

Keep calling saying they support MD Police Families which is a lie!!!!!

They are still trying to run this same scam. Don't send them any money!!!!!!!
