I answered the call and an automated voice was saying "that is not a valid extension"

I answered the call and they sent me to jail.

Didn't answer and left no message. Using my iPhone function to block this number too!

Yep , just shortly ago , was not near fone to answer  so don't know who it was ?? no message left either.the 728 looked suspicious .....

used a separate website called www.unknowntracer.com to look up the #, it's a mobile phone based in India. This is a scam and you shouldn't even answer - I didn't. I don't know how I ended up on the scammer list but anytime i don't see a city, state under the phone number i don't answer - you can't spoof that. don't answer, block the call.

I answered this number.  It was an automated message stating "Congratulations, you qualify to have the interest rate on your credit card lowered, please dial 9 to be transferred."  I hung up.  There was no indication of what company they were representing.

Did you check that web site first? Here's a few surprises for you:

I just received a call from this number and happened that I was driving and didn't answer it. Then I checked this site and found that it was a scammer. Doesn't have any idea about this numbers.

I just got a call from this number, didn't answer, but now blocking after seeing this!

Just received 5 minutes ago a call and was away from my cell.  I got an automated phone message saying I qualified for 6% interest on my credit card and to press 9 to speak with a operator.  My caller ID showed this number  728-726-6607 so I thought I would Google it since it looked suspicious and found this site.  I am blocking it.

3 times in less than a minute. No message.

Just got a call from 728-726-6607 on my cell, I pushed it to voicemail with nothing left and have blocked it.

Yes, the recording says they're "calling about your credit card," and the friendly voice says, "there's nothing wrong with your account, you've just been selected to get a better interest rate! press 9 to speak to a rep." Well I did that, asked what compay it was and the guy with a very thick accent said "Visa" (ohhhh, *that* company! here,s take my money!) I said "Which one?" and he said "Capitol One." I told him I don't have an account with CO and started to ask him to remove my number from all lists and he hung up on me.

This number called around 1 pm.  I answered it and there was a recording with a woman's voice.  She said they were calling about my credit card account but not to worry because nothing was wrong.  They wanted to lower my interest rate.  I have no credit cards, so it's gotta be a scam!

Blocked caller for future calls from this number. Did not answer and no message was left.

Just got a call from here too.  Its a SCAM, DNA  (They need to add SCAM to the Call Type - In the absence I selected Prank Call)

just had this number call me while i was at work.  no message.  like others have said, if you have a smartphone, it should list a state or location under the number, no listing, no answer.  SCAM
