they called I answered it indicated I dialed a wrong extension, ( I didnt press anything), and then hung up before the message finished.

Automated called, asked to push 9 to see about lower my credit card rate.  I pushed 9 and asked what credit card company this was and the gentlemen ignored my question and just started rambling.  When I asked again, he said something about capital one.  When I responded that I don't have a capital one credit card, he hung up on.

Is there a way to block all 728 numbers before they call? I have an iPhone.

Called me today! And promptly hung up.

Yes, hit the (i) on the missed call as you will save contact.  When you get to the contact page, scroll down and select "Block this caller".

Got calls from this number after my bank called regarding unauthorized purchases.  I didn't answer and looked up this number.

If you receive calls on iPhone, no need to download app to block calls.  You can block them from your iPhone.
1. On the recent list, click on the circle with the "i". This will put you in the section as you were going to save contact.
2. When you get to that screen, scroll down to the bottom where it says "Block this Caller".
3. Once you select that, you will not receive anymore calls from these deadbeats.

Saw this number on Caller ID...didn't answer the phone...blocked the number from further calls.

Got a call from (728) 726-6803, Sept. 29, 2015, 11:47am, about my credit card. I do not have a credit card, so I hang-up after 5 sec.  Two minutes later, I called the number back, to find that it was not an active number.

I just received a call from this number. They did not leave a message so I assumed it was a scammer. Thank you to all who have posted, now I know that I will block the number!!

I also received a call today (9/29/15) at 10a pacific from 728.726.6803 on my work number (caller ID read Morningside) and then on my cell phone. I immediately Googled the number as I've never heard of a 728 area code. I'm glad I did - thanks for the tips. I blocked the number on my iPhone.

Exact same thing happened to me.

I received a call from this number (728-726-6803) at 12:17 pm central time). I did not answer, they left no message. I just added it to my auto reject call list
