WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever! It would be wise to block the ENTIRE '728 area code', as it doesn't exist- it is spoofed, and ONLY USED BY SCAMMERS.

i got a call from this number. No msg and can't call it back. I blocked it.

There is no answer and it is not a valid number.

Thanks for the information. I spoke to a representative to ask that my number be removed and got a very vulgar response. I'm blocking the whole area code and reporting the number.

Call to my cell phone was blocked by app because this # is not in my contact list.

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

Thanks for the info!  They just called me too, but I didn't answer!  I get more phone calls from people like this than I do from people I know!  I don't even answer numbers I don't know anymore!  If it's important they will leave a message and I will call back!

They called my cell phone. I answered but it was dead air until they hung up.

Press 9 now, to be connected to one of our friendly scammers, who will be more than happy to earn his or her commission in order to continue their drug habit, by totally draining your credit card account. They are not able to lower any interest rates, but they will lower the available credit on your card to ZERO.

Same deal. They call, tell you that you're available to have your APR lowered to a certain percentage and, "PRESS 9, NOW!"  They didn't even clarify which credit card company they're calling from. That's the first red flag.

Didn't press nine. I just hung up and blocked the number. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

I received a call, hung up. When I tried to call back, Verizon said it didn't exist...

I just got a call from this number, I was driving and I don't talk on my cell while driving, I got home and checked my voicemail, no message left, I NEVER GIVE ANY ACCOUNT NUMBERS TO ANYONE, BUT IM BLOCKING IT, PEOPLE BEWARE, THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM

A recorded message said I can now lower my credit card to 6%, just press 9 , so I did . A women said because I've been such a good customer I can get a lower rate . She asked how much did I owe ?, so I asked what credit card was she talking about . She rattled off 3 different company's , with that I said I don't have those cards , she immediately hung up . Called back but the number doesn't exist , scam.

I received a call from 728-727-1512.  They hung up and did not say anything.  Please be careful with this number. I would hate for anyone to be scammed out of money.

WRONG! 728 is a Fresno, CA area code. Wrong info is as bad as the scammers themselves. If u don't kno what the hell  ur talking about, shut the hell up.

Yes, a spoofed area code, used by VoIP scammers. "If u (you) don't kno (know) what the hell ur (you're) talking about, shut the hell up"..Obviously a dullard scammer making a post.
