WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever! It would be wise to block the ENTIRE '728 area code', as it doesn't exist- it is spoofed, and ONLY USED BY SCAMMERS.

Accidentally picked up as I was expecting a call from a 727 (Florida)... vmail saying "that was not a valid extension" So I guess they were trying to validate number. Number is now blocked

my Caller ID APP warned me it was possible spam. It's not 100% accurate but the number with my area code as the second set of numbers was suspicious so I blocked it and googled the number - you came up. Glad I did. Thanks! Your site is stored now.

Called my cell phone.  I don't answer numbers I don't know.  Looks like others have investigated this.

I just got a call from this number (which I don't recognize). They did not leave a message, so I figure it's a call I don't want.

Stayed on to tell them take me off list. They asked did I know why they called I said I didn't care but get me off your list from this and all numbers. She said goodbye and hung up on me.

Unknown, appeared no one was on line

they have called twice within mins of each other -I haven' answered and they leave no message -after reading these I won't worry about them any more or who they are

Press 9 now, to be connected to one of our friendly scammers, who will be more than happy to earn his or her commission in order to continue their drug habit, by totally draining your credit card account. They are not able to lower any interest rates, but they will lower the available credit on your card to ZERO.

I don't answer numbers I don't know.  This number just called, my voice to text app shows they have automated messages saying call being transferred to a representative then it cuts off. I googled and found this site. Thank you for sharing your experiences! :) Number now blocked. I also learned here that the area code doesn't exist....no way would I have known that!

Credit card interest rate spam.

Left the following message (I didn't listen to it, Google Voice did the translation):
"With your account the reason for the call is to let you know that you're now eligible for interest rates as low as 6% if you'd like to be transferred to a representative regarding your account press 9 now again press 9 now to speak with a representative. "

like everyone else, i believe this is a (pseudo) fraudulent call. in my case, they left no voicemail when i didn't answer. apparently for whatever reason, when mine rolled to google voice, they terminated the call prematurely...

Unwanted call from unknown number. I did not pick up and they did not leave a message.

I received a call from this # on 9-14-2015 and when I asked who was calling they hung up. I tried to call the # back but it was either busy or a message played back stating that it was not a working #. I do not own credit cards so when the message played saying that they could lower my interest rate on my credit card I was a bit suspicious.

They called, I did not pick up. Now blocked based on the findings here.

Received call and googled before I called back as I never answer calls from random #'s.  Love this site and the help of all here, thank you.  Added to my long blocked call list.

Just recv'd call to lower interest rate to 6%. Right. I ask name of company, was told Legal Associates, 2014 N Kings Ave, Kings Bay, Orlando FL. (apparently fake) I ask if they ever heard of "do-not-call list- they did not-- right: I ask to speak to a supervisor, he replied "no one speaks English". The caller did not speak much either.
