- Sylvia Negrete| 3 repliesStates they are from card member services and wanted to offer me a very low interest rate on all my existing credit cards. Wanted information on my credit cards. Would not identify location but said they were working with Capitol One, Citibank, and other credit card companies.
- Caller: Card Member Services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Rich replies to Sylvia Negrete| 1 replyWARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever! It would be wise to block the ENTIRE '728 area code', as it doesn't exist- it is spoofed, and ONLY USED BY SCAMMERS.
- KenTold them to take me off their call list but the calls keep coming!
- BudCalled referencing "your credit card".... seemed bogus, so we hung up.
- PeteDid not answer, they did not leave message.
- John replies to RichThe card service scammers WILL 'service' our credit cards, BUT, when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

- Tim replies to Sylvia NegretePress 9 now, to be connected to one of our friendly scammers, who will be more than happy to earn his or her commission in order to continue their drug habit, by totally draining your credit card account. They are not able to lower any interest rates, but they will lower the available credit on your card to ZERO.
- AMSJust call my cell. When I picked up a recorded voice said, "That is not a valid extension." That's all I needed to hear. I hung up.
- Tom replies to LKThese credit card scammers, and others, use a 'robodialer', which dials numbers in a sequential order, until someone answers, and becomes their next potential victim. They are not calling 'you', or 'your' cellphone, they are simply calling a number.
