Called my cell, no response to "hello".  Area code 728 and exchange 727 numbers same as known spammers so I blocked this number from further calls.

Calls, didn't answer, leaves no message. No such area code.

Did not answer.  No messages

Called and when I reply there was no one answering on the other end...very annoying

They wanted to lower interest rates on credit card and asked for the number of the card for verification.  Told him "you called me you know this info" and he told me it was a standard question.  I then asked him to remove me from the call list he told me to shut-up and hung up.

Same old scam. no message. don't call back. I think they're just compiling lists of curious but dim people.

I received the same call. A few months ago they called me and wanted to lower the interest rates on my credit cards and I don't even have any credit cards. I told them that and they said I had 3 cards that were all issued by Chase Manhattan Bank. I said "how much"? It was over $3000. I told them it wasn't my debt and they hung up.

Message: "That is not a valid extension" then hung up. I HATE THIS CRAP. 10 new ones every week. COME ON VERIZON!

Same experience as others here: My home phone rings in the middle of a weekday. I answer the phone with "Hello" and there is dead silence on the other end for ten seconds, then the caller hangs up.

Just received a phone call from (728) 727-7094 I didn't answer nor they didn't leave a message.

Called me. No message. Blocked the number on my phone

keeps calling but doesn't leave a message. Doesn't answer if you dial back.  Says the person is busy!

Received a call from this number. A prerecorded female voice informed me that call was about my credit card and that I could lower my interest. Since I have not had a credit card in years I decided to press the number to get a human and instead of getting a person,the call just ended. Of course I googled the number and as I do with all unknown numbers and was not surprised that it was a scam.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever! It would be wise to block the ENTIRE '728 area code', as it doesn't exist- it is spoofed, and ONLY USED BY SCAMMERS.
