Got a call-- no response on other end.

Rec'd call, didn't answer, no msg & here we are. Now on my blocked number list

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever! It would be wise to block the ENTIRE '728 area code', as it doesn't exist- it is spoofed, and ONLY USED BY SCAMMERS.

How do you get removed?

Funny question.... these are scammers, trying to steal your credit card info.  A computer dials the number ("robocall)).  They don't care about the "Do Not Call" list, and they don't care if you want your number removed.  The number they are calling from, that shows up on your caller ID is not real - it is "spoofed".  The only thing you can do is block the number on your phone.

credit card scam to lower interest rates

Press 9 now, to be connected to one of our friendly scammers, who will be more than happy to earn his or her commission in order to continue their drug habit, by totally draining your credit card account. They are not able to lower any interest rates, but they will lower the available credit on your card to ZERO.

no one there and no msg

I just saw a call from this number on mobile phone. I didn't answer. I then checked this forum and THEN dialed it direct. It does indeed say ---"it's not a valid number". Sigh. Waste of time.

Don't need these criminals calling me

I just received a call from this number. Since I didn't recognize it, I didn't pick up. They did not leave a message. I'll block this number. Thanks for the information on this scam call.

Do not recognize number. No one responds when I say "hello".

I just received a call from this number(Unknown MOBILE phone number!). I couldn't answer because I was in other room... when I reached the phone was to late, they hung up. Tried to call them back and the robot message told me that "to check the number and dial it again"...    I blocked this number!!

I have a number that I give people that forwards to my phone.  When people call the phone directly it's always an unwanted call.  This was one of those calls.

Just discovered I received a call on my cell at 12:16pm on the 28th. No message phone just shows unknown. Thanks for the info on these scammers. Blocked.

728 is a legit area code.  Fresno CA.
