Silent phone call, called back and said the number was disconnected.

728-727-8951. Did not answer. Returned call to see who it was. Call could not be completed as dialed.

Called 2 days in a row. Did not leave voicemail.

I don't give my cell phone number to anybody accept close friends and family so this is a phishing scam of some sort.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever! It would be wise to block the ENTIRE '728 area code', as it doesn't exist- it is spoofed, and ONLY USED BY SCAMMERS.

got a call from 1(728)727-8951  The recording said they would give me 6% interest on my credit card just press 9. When a person answered on the other line they said they were with credit card services. When I asked "credit card services for whom? they hung up. I would say its a scam and now they are blocked.

Received a call this morning around 7:52am. Didn't answer in time. Tried calling it back but got message to check the number. Called me again at 8:06am. Answered but no one there.

Didn't answer. Now blocked.

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

Second call I've gotten from this number.  My caller ID didn't list a state for it.  Won't answer a cold call like that.  No VM left.   My research shows this area code is "not assigned" although another one said it was for the Fresno area of California.

DEFINITELY not a legitimate call.

I JUST got a call from this number. I only picked up because I thought it was a particular person. The voicemail sai," this is about your credit cards.you are now eligible for a rate at 6%. Push (whatever number). I did (shouldn't have) and a guy, sounded almost like a teenager, says " am I on? " Then proceeds to laugh n joke with someone! I quickly hung up then did an area code search. Weird! A scam I'm sure. #Blocked

Received a call from this number this morning. Caller didn't leave a message. After reading previous comments about this number, it is now blocked!

Call no message and oddly enough it won't go to voicemail when they call it just rings and rings until you pick up. Call back is impossible. Reported as credit card scammers on Google

Press 9 now, to be connected to one of our friendly scammers, who will be more than happy to earn his or her commission in order to continue their drug habit, by totally draining your credit card account. They are not able to lower any interest rates, but they will lower the available credit on your card to ZERO.

728 is not a valid area code.  It is a spoofed phone number.

I have relatives in the Fresno area. . .that area code is 559. This definitely sounds like a scam.

Received a call from this number a little bit ago. If I don't recognize a phone number or area code, I let it go to voicemail, which is what I did with this call. No one left a message so I looked it up on whitepages.com. White Pages said that 728 IS NOT a valid area code. I will be blocking this number!
