No answer, no caller, silence. Phishing?

Called my cell phone, no other identifying information.  Did not answer, no voice mail.

Missed the call but when I tried calling back nothing said the number you dialed/called does not exist

Called my cell phone and my spouses cell phone at exactly the same time.  Must be a robocaller.  We did not pick up.  They did not leave a message.

Me too, just now.  I've been getting spam text from China for cheap sunglasses so I wondered if 728 was an international country code.

Also just looked up area code 728.  This is an unassigned area code.  "Unassigned area codes.  Any area code listed as an unassigned area code is an invalid area code when it was last checked. If you get a call from an unassigned area code, it is likely a telemarketer is spoofing the phone number to prevent the call from being blocked or ignored."

@LJ: which is why I asked AT&T if it would be possible to automatically block calls using unassigned area codes. They said they would look into it.  I'm not holding my breath.

They just called my cell and left no message.

Just got a call from this number. Didn't answer and no voicemail.

Received call on my cell phone from this number. Didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a voicemail.

I also got a call by this number did not leave a message

Got a call from this number and when answered its a robot trying to scam you into getting a credit card with them. Second call actually pressed 9 to talk to someone and told the lady to take me off the call list. 2 hours later they called again. I get this call sometimes 3 times a day and its always a robot. My number is registered on the national do not call registry, apparently that does not stop these people.

Strange on reading other responses........My recorded message said it was Lori calling on my credit card, there's nothing wrong with my current card but wanted to offer me lower credit card rates. I repeatedly tried to interrupt "Lori" with some nonsense question "where are you calling from and how's the weather" and it clicked a few times and hung up.

Didn't answer....no message

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever! It would be wise to block the ENTIRE '728 area code', as it doesn't exist- it is spoofed, and ONLY USED BY SCAMMERS.

Same here. Just called me 3 minutes. Called back and nothing. 729 & 729 are unassigned codes usually connected to spammers. DO NOT ANSWER these calls PR you'll be sorry.

received a call from them number is also listed as a 573-714-5538 (cell) and 728-727-9284, they tell you that there is nothing wrong with your credit card accounts, just want to offer you credit protection. BEWARE and block these numbers

Recorded call to my cell phone saying that there's nothing wrong, but that they could lower my credit card interest to 6%. iPhone makes it easy to block any number, so I blocked them.
