WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!

Never give your personal information over the phone! Your bank will never call you and ask you for your credit card number/address/name. They already have it!!!

728 is not a real area code so the callers are scammers who "spoofed" caller id. You can not call the number back because it is not a valid number. Do not talk to these people!!! Hang up!!

Unassigned area codes

Any area code listed as an unassigned area code is an invalid area code when it was last checked. If you get a call from an unassigned area code, it is likely a telemarketer is spoofing the phone number to prevent the call from being blocked or ignored.

Just don't answer it!

This was a robocall from "Lisa", just like the old "Rachel" calls saying that there is nothing wrong with my credit cards, but they can save me money on my interest rates.  The FTC hit the Rachel callers with fines once for the false advertising and violating the do not call list, but apparently they get enough suckers that it is worth the potential fines that they keep coming back.  I'll report them to the FTC, and maybe they'll go after these guys too?

Received call this morning from 728-774-9128. This is the second call from this area code, the other number, 725-4327 also went unanswered.

Total scammers.

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

I also got a call from this number, but I own no credit cards and am no idiot. If I did have a credit card the last thing I do is give it over the phone, I trust no one.

Just got a call too.. they are on a roll today I see.. I have changed my answering machine to  " You have reached the offices of Agent Seely Booth with the FBI, please leave your name,number and a brief message .  I'm a chick and a friend said I managed to make myself sound almost foreign , so must be why, these scammers are only calling once. I haven't been getting repeat calls and still only 5 calls in the last wk.  When I'm gone, I shut the machine off, so it just rings and rings, which they take as a no good number..  Just a few months ago I would get 6 to 8 calls in a DAY!!!

Rec'd calls earlier in the week from 728-722-4927 and now have missed a call, no msg left from 728-774-9128. Wow, these jerks really don't give up now do they?! Guess I will be adding another number to my phone's block list although I wish there was a functionality to block all calls coming from a 728-722-XXXX number. I am heeding all of the great advice given by other commenters and considering these calls to be ill intentioned at the least. It is also such an inconsiderate interruption to everyone's day. Sigh.

I get phone calls regularly from this number.. I don't answer.. but maybe next time I'll blow a whistle in their ear..

Yeah I just got a call from that same number. So I looked it up on area codes cause if I don't know u I'm not gonna answer. They need to get a real job like everyone else. We all wrk hard for what we got and then u gt theses dumb ass people who want to take advantage of people. Gt a life. Every time u call the number back it's never a wrking number. Gt off ur lazy [***] and do something with ur life instead of trying to make ur life easier by preying upon others.

Called my cell phone. Not sure how they got the number, but I didn't answer and they did not leave a message.

they call and don't leave a message but yet keep calling..........very annoying!
