This is a new Android number for Portfolio Recovery. A dept collection agency. To deal with dirt bags of this sort, just download a number blocking app and add this number to it, along with any other numbers you want blocked. This only applies to cell phones of course. These low lifes don't deserve anything, especially your time.

No answer by me and no message from them. Glad to find out about this tactic by Portfolio Rectalcovery. Today is Sunday... I guess they hope that going to services makes people more prone to answering their troll...

Portfolio Recovery... so happy the call came in while a bunco detective, a BBB rep, and two state district judges saw and heard the call...

These scam [***] are vindictive, low class, uneducated slobs who harass incessentlu with automated repeated calls to my cell phone with no message.  They come in groups of three during busniss hours, Sunday and always before 9:00 a.m.
i have call blocked more than 12 numbers in the last 7 days...yet this criminal harassment continues.  

About to hire a lawyer and go to court.

Many calls but no messages

Call, no message left.

This so company is a scam, they attempt to collect on expired, paid, collected and/or dismissed debts.  They have collected this information illegally from sources who sell your contact information.  They were attempting to collect on a invalid debt from 13 yrs ago, they called my personal cell number for my husbands debt from before we were even together claiming that my number was given as a contact number!  They get this information from services such as Intelius (along with many others) where they can pay a monthly fee to look up people and their history, ie relatives, exes, employers, addresses, old numbers, anything that could have been noted somewhere.  We have been constantly harassed by this "so called" debt recovery service for over years and years now, they disappear every so often for a stretch of time, then low and behold they get a NEW NUMBER and start this crap all over again.   DO NOT give them any personal information.  DO NOT bother talking to them, block the number and go on about your life peacefully!

They called me today for the first time months. They sent me a letter back in November saying they had "purchased" an old debt of mine of $113 from 2011. Good thing that I kept the payment records for that debt! I kept it because of sleezeballs like this. Yes, the payment was late, BUT I paid it in full directly to the company. I sent them a copy of the payment along with a letter to never contact me via phone again, that any and all future correspondence needed to be in writing or that I would be contacting the BBB. Guess who my next contact is to?? You got it. Don't mess with me.

Called and left no message.   They just keep calling using different numbers.   I've blocked them as they come in.
