Called back the # 732 226-7545 Robert James...caught them in lie about being an IRS agent. They said I had a warrant issued for my arrest...Once I started to laugh and call them on their scam they quickly hung up.  Person at other end said their name was Robert James ID # 17173...This # has been reported to the police.

This number called me 5x yesterday : 4/6/15 said his name was Dennis Gray - very thick foreign accent (India/middle eastern?).   Didn't mention our names - just "official. 2nd offense, etc threatening irs...."   sad that this is allowed.

This caller left same repeated message twice within an hour, saying it is from US treasury department regarding an arrest warrant. Blah, blah, blah…  Person with the same accent answered, "department of treasury" when calling this number back.

We received this call yesterday and here is the beginning of the message, "Hi, this message is intended to contact you.  My name is Dennis Gray and I am calling regarding an enforcement action executed by...."

The caller has an obvious accent from India, but is using an American name.  Who the hell uses the word "intending" as needing?  Notice how they did not even try and provide a name for whom this message is needing "serious attention".  He probably should have used the word offense instead of attempt as in "intentional 2nd offense" to make it sound better.

Needless to say this number is now blocked. Ha.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

A man calling himself Dennis Gray called regarding an enforcement action executed by US Treasury and that ignoring this would be an intentional attempt to avoid appearance before a magistrate judge for a federal criminal offense.
He has called the last two days and left a voice mail message.

When I got the call (same message about criminal offense, etc.), I called back and said that someone had left a message at [my home phone number]. He knew my name, and told me in his heavy accent that he was "James Smith" and didn't I remember speaking with him before. I said that no, I had no recollection of talking to him on any occasion, and the line went dead.

Same message as the others saying he has a warrant for my arrest.  Everything is recorded, EVERY time he calls (every hour up to 4 times a day).  He has a heavy accent. I thought he said his name was Tannis Grey.

This number has called twice this morning and left voice mail with the same message as others have posted here.  They have been put on our blocked number list.  He sounds very serious and to a degree threatening.

Nuff said.  This sonuvabitch is going DOWN.  Innocent people are going to get hurt.

And, my phone company (ATT) is going to hear me demand that my Caller ID service be provided at no charge.  Without Caller ID, your home phone is *literally* turning into an unsafe device.
