I got a message from Richard Miller (notice name is Richard and not Steve) to call him back on 201-204-0022.  No caller ID on work phone except that I got envelope information and the number used was 732-280-6886.  I goggled this number and it for Garden State Securities Inc in New Jersey (otherwise GSS).

Correct...this is cold calling from a small brokerage house.

"Nick" left a message sounding as if he was an old buddy "from GSS".  Sales I reckon.  Annoying I know.  Caller ID = Garden State Sec 732-280-6886, callback he left on the voicemail = 1-877-477-7862, ext. 207.

I also just got a call for my boss by a Craig Margelise. He wanted to speak w/my boss so I told him he wasn't in. He gives me his name & number and when I asked what it was in reference to he replies "It's a personal business matter - he'll be familiar with it." Oh yeah [***], well if it's personal then you would have his extension and wouldn't need to go through me. So I replied "I'm sure it is" and hung up. A$$HOLE. I cannot stand these people!

And his number is 732-280-6886 which I know is NJ.

The whole lot of them sound like they are descentants of John Gotti. Except for a guy named Egan, they're all Italian. One guy's name is even Louis Lucky Perrotto, Jr. WTF is that?

Unsolicited phone call that addressed me by my first name, said he was from GSS securities...almost as if we knew each other.  I belive it is cold calling.

call showed up as 732-2880-6886 Garden State Securities.  "Nick" gave return no. of 732-927-1601.  Obvious cold call.  Message on V/M makes it sound like someone you might know.  Clearly NOT.

Received a call from Nick to call him back at 732-556-4485.  The call came in as 732-280-6886.  I looked it up and it was Garden State Securities.  Definitely a cold call to sell me something.

Received a call from "Nick Maj...???" at my office.  The last name seemed intentionally garbled in his phone message.  Phone ID showed 732-280-6886.  In his message, Nick confidently said that he looked forward to my return call at 732-556-4485.  I looked the number up to find that it was Garden State Securities.  A cold call or prank, I don't know.  I'm confident that I'm not calling back.

The name is Nick Magistro.  He just called my office and definitely made it sound like he's been in communication with my boss; Highly doubt it after seeing this webpage.

I received a call this morning (February 26, 2010) that simply said, "Hi, [My Name].  This is Craig Margolies.  Give me a call back at 732-556-4485."  But who the hell is this guy?  He apparently knows at least my first name, but I never heard of him!  [No, I do not know how to spell the "Margolies" name that he left me, but it sounds like a call from the same jokers as other people have been having.]  He was trying to sound like he is someone that I know well and that I should of course just get back to him ASAP.  He did not leave any company name or any other reason as to why he was calling.  I suppose he expects that this unwarranted familiarity makes it more likely for him to get a return call.  Fat chance.

I received a call from 732-280-6886, and not recognizing the number, I did not answer.  However, a Mr. Nick Majestro from an outfit called "Garden State" wanted me to call him at 877-477-7862, ext. 2018.

Obviously a telemarketer and a nuisance.

I received a voice mail message from 732-280-6886. Caller indicated he was a Craig Margolis from a Garden State and wanted me to call him back at 877-477-7602, extendion 2019.

Numerous postings have this guy under multiple phone numbers contacting people all over the country. Most who have made the mistake of calling back have regretted it. I have no intention of calling this person back.

An easy way to spot frauds is that they do not give the details of who they are and how they are related to you. My telephone number is unlisted and so only legitimate potential callers, such as my insurance company and relatives know it.

I have a Zenith ZEP 100 model outgoing go away message generator. Whenever I get a call from some unknown company from another state, I automatically push the button instead of answering the telephone. This is a great gismo costing a few dollars.

Craig is still working the phone thingy on Dec 01, 2010.

Looks like they are using an auto dialer or number strips...
(It's a tele-fraud thing in me own opinion...)

Got a call from this phone, didn't lift the phone as I didn't recognize the number. called didn't leave voice message.

Received call from 732-280-6886. Caller does not identify himself. Can't even pronounce one of my managers name correctly, so I know they do not know him. It is a very easy name. Sent an email to their website. Gardenstatesecruities.com asking to please stop the phone calls. The caller hangs up everytime I ask what the call is about. Chickens. Very unprofessional.
