Called 5X w/in 3 minutes...rang only 1-2 times and hang-up...answered once and no response, just buzzing in background...does anyone know who these jokers are?

Same pattern as reported by JJ.  This is a NJ exchange.  This NJ attorney is going to find out who the hell is doing this.

Called early in the morning. When I answered I heard a message "Connecting your call". The person on the other line was "Delilah" and identified herself as calling from CBCS. A search on the internet reveals that this is probably a collection agency.

Called this afternoon, my voice box register 20 seconds of silence... Strange isn't it !
I'm in the UK and the CallerID include +44 at the beginning, not +1

Called 2 days in a row 4 times in 10 minutes, the message said something I couldnt understand, but I think they said something about
"sunlife phone" and to press 9 if I wished to stop receiving the calls. Pressing 9 did nothing, the message continued to tell me about offers for small business owners. I hung up before it got any further.
I have also received calls from 604-895-0009 and 604-550-7000 with the same message.

If you have Verizon, do Star 57 5 minutes after the call from this number. It gets a police trace and becomes "official evidence." I have done this 5 times in the past month and have now filed a police report at my precint here in New Jersey. I'm getting one or two calls a day from this number for the past several months. Verizon said they contacted them and told them to cease and desist, but they haven't. Hence the police report. I encourage all of you to take a few moments, do * 57 thing and file a police report. from canada here i havent given my phone number to anyone for this very reason and im getting calls from this number now myself i previously had calls onmy other cell phone from another phone number sortta similar to this and put a trace on it ...if this is an american phone number that we are all iquiring about why would it call me up here in canada

Officially filed a criminal harrasment charge against the number and the NJ police are now working with Verizon to find out what's going on. I called VoicePulse to notify them and all of a sudden, the calls increases to 4 or 5 a day. Fortunately, I have the Star 57 hookup with Verizon, which is actually puts an official police trace on the call. I have been doing this 4 or 5 times a day for a month. A MONTH!! (Though the calls have been coming for four-plus months). All logged by the police. I can't wait to see what happens. I intened to play hardball. It's good to have lawyers in the family

Just gota call from this number. He had hard time in speaking english and he was trying to convince me accept their offer for international call to my country for 11c/min when I told him that I'm already signed up with some other company for 4.9c/min he hung up ;).
