Called, saying they were from the Vehicle dept. want to sell extended warranty.

First he wanted to know if I was Paul.  I said who are you?  He said he was from the "Vehicle Processing Department" and wanted to know if I was Paul.  I asked what kind of BS this was and he said he didn't have to talk to me if I used that language.  I said "OK" and hung up.

This number calls every other day. I finally answered and they said they were from "Vehicle Processing Department". They were looking for my mother and I kept asking what this was in regards to and the dude said he could not release any more information. I am reading a lot online about this Vehicle Processing Department garbage. It is a scam trying to sell automobile warranties. Their number is untraceable so if you give them any info it is very likely that you will never hear from them. Ask what company they are from, I am hearing they will just hang up. My called id says they call from Global Touch, so if you see that do yourself a favor and don't answer.

Never left message. The Call ID showed 'Global Touch'.

Inadvertently picked up phone thinking that it was a local contracting company with a similar name that I was trying to get some work with.  I should have paid better attention to the caller ID because it was a telemarketer selling some vehicle warranty.  I put the phone on mute and walked away in the middle of his pitch.  The phone started it off-hook beep-beep a couple minutes later, so I guess the guy was smart enough to figure out he was pitching to dead air (he he).

They just called and spoke to my husband, he said he wasn't interested in extending the warranty, they called back 10 minutes later - they are now blocked.  The caller ID comes up as "Spring Lake"

He said he was from the Vehilce Processing Department and the caller ID said Global Touch.  I told him I wasn't interested in his scam and to stop calling me and I hung up.  Why do I get this crap when I have an unlisted number and I;m on the Do Not Call List?

Called me twice within the 1 hr. I told them to go screw their grandmother! Never called me again.  

Someone from this number kept calling me.  I was finally able to answer.  The woman knew my name and my (former) car model so obviously she got my info from somewhere.  She said she was calling about my warranty (or something) and said I haven't been responding to the mailed notices.  I told her the truth, that I sold that car 8 years ago and had no idea what she was talking about.  As I was explaining that I didn't have a Honda anymore, she hung up on me.

Paul , the same thing happened to me today, he said he was from the vehicle processing center, asked him what this was about he hung up

I received a call from this number ever day for the past week. I'm on the do not call list. They never leave a voicemail and there is no answer when I call back.

Global Touch...probably the rudest people around.... At first I was very polite, and asked what was this in reference to, they hung up. This went on for a few days...Now, when it comes up on caller ID, oooh do I have fun with them!! I answer in an opera voice, little kid voice, and my all time favorite: Sperm bank, you whack it, we pack it!! Lol... they hang up immediately. We are on the do not call list, so I don't understand why they are so relentless.

Got this call today. Didnt answer, no message. Glad i looked up the number

They called at 5:45 pm and asked for me by name. I advised there was no one here by that name so they told me to have a good night. I just hung up on her. Posting these complaints is also a waste of time. I get several calls per day on my home phone from many different numbers and I usually ignore. This one happens to be from my own area code, so I answered. My # is also unlisted and on the DoNotCall List which is obviously useless. Maybe they got hacked.... Or maybe they're selling our numbers. Just ignore, there's nothing we can do. Unfortunately, some people will fall for this.... Please warn everyone you know, especially the elderly.

Same thing.. Women with a heavy asian accent.. I told her I received this call last week and asked to be removed. Not to call again... The only reason I answered was it was from my area code. Somehow we need to get these people shut down..
