Must be Vonage then, same call, three times now in two days, silence, when you call back number does not take return calls.  You figure they would tell you ugh by the way you will receive tests calls from this number, it will be annoying but it is just us.  Classic customer support

This number has to be Vonage. I also just switched from Vonage to another provider. They called but no one was there, maybe an automated system?!?

Vonage to AT&T switch . I see a pattern here. vonage is the most unprofessional company I have dealt with in a long time. 5 calls and I answered 1 with no response. Burned a minute on my cell with them

It is Vonage. It happens right before the transfer of your prior long distance carrier to the Vonage system. It happened to us this morning.

My number was scheduled to be ported over from AT&T to Vonage.  I presume it's Vonage's system checking status.  Once it gets a certain signal it will send you an email letting you know the conversion is complete.

No call details, number left no message.  I called it back and was an automated message from Vonage saying "This is Vonage automated test dialer, no further action is needed"  What are they testing and Why they do this I do not know, but interesting that we are switching from Vonage to WOW phone.

Yup did the same thing, except ported from Vonage to Tracfone prepaid phone.  10 cents a minute and 5 cents for text messages with no contract or monthly fees.  You can't beat that.  Holds the number for me.

Vonage sucks.  Their customer service is atrocious.  And to top it all off they are raising their prices.  I had three lines with them and I am gonna dump them all eventually.

Ported the number from Vonage to T-Mobile @ home.  So far, only one call.  Let's see if it degenerates into harassment.

Could it be a test dialer to see if their system is routing calls out of their network?  They've been notorious for not routing calls to other providers after numbers are ported out.  (Can't believe I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.)

Received multiple calls, no message left on machine, silence when picked up. We also switched to Vonage though still in progress, have yet to receive router. Number also ported. Very annoying!!!

Ported over from Vonage last week, got the infamous dead air call this morning at 8.  Good riddance to Vonage, who was not at all cooperative in processing the transfer request.  Couldn't be happier to have dumped their service.

This number called me this morning. Same experience; Dead silence, and I also ported my number yesterday from Vonage to AT&T. Vonage was a disaster. They don't tell you that there service does not work with Earthlink DSL. I had no telephone service at all for 9 days trying to get my number back from Vonage. And now this: Junk dead-air calls.
