We usually don't answer but the hubby did and I almost feel sorry for who was on the other end. Lol

just received a call from this number but left no message on my answering machine.  I blocked my number called back and get this number is not in service.  I figured it was a telemarketing.  I will have to update hm number on the do not call list as it has worked over the years

a SCAM.    Guy claimed to be from AMVETS.. then you're transferred to a woman who tries to get credit card information from you.

Same thing - the guy claimed to be from AMVETS...  So he is multi-faced impersonator?

Scam. Paid solicitor for a supposed charity that may get a small portion of of the funds raised if any. They have called twice to a phone on the DO NOT CALL list. They are fund raisers that take 90% or more of the money raised and only a token amount MAY go to a legit charity.  This week it's Amvets of NJ, next week who knows what they will be soliciting (scamming) for.
