Caller claimed to be a lawyer representing a payday loan company who says I took out a loan but I didn't. He had all my personal information and said the company was pressing charges and filing a lawsuit against me and that he was gonna contact the courts and sheriff office and I will be getting arrested the next morning. I'm waiting to see if that happens but it made no sense.

I had the same thing just happen to me also, they were very rude and they had all my personal information. They did not give any information on exactly it was about they just said it was a payday cash loan. They also said they were going to call the cops and have the cops at my house in 15 mins. To me this was kind of scary but I have got ahold of several different lawyers and attorneys, and am going to file a complaint. This was the worst feeling in the world to get this call this morning....

Male caller called and said he was representing client " Cash Advance" and was going to sue me for a loan not repaid. I never took out loan with this company and know it is a bogus claim, but am not at ease knowing the caller has personal information about me. I tried getting details about the so called claim, but they became obscene and rude, then proceeded to call my cell phone repeatedly. How is this person(s) not arrested and charged already? They continue to use the same number and same scam tactic. I called a lawyer and was advised not to worry about it.

I did not answer the phone, but he left a message, heavy Indian accent calling himself Ricky Brown. Told me that I needed to call immediately or have my attorney call immediately. He said that if I didn't call things were going to unfold and it was my problem.

Ricky Brown called me leaving a message stating that I should return the call and that the call was time sensitive and I should call back immediately. I returned the call. It was explained that I had a payday loan in 2010 and I did not have anything such. They would not give me any information regarding the so called payday loan. I told the guy to call back and leave a detailed message of what I supposingly owed. They never left a message, but another guy called me back named David Jones - Lawyer telling me I better send $497.00 or else he would send the cops to my job and have me arrested. He also stated that he would make me lose my job.I was called stupid when I refused and he hung up on me. After I called back several times he gave me the information of what the call was about very speedily to where I could not understand it and he refused to repeat it. This company continues to call my job on a daily basis at least 4 times a day. I received my first call from them on Wednesday January 18, 2012. They will not stop calling me. I even received a call on Saturday morning. I am consulting a lawyer. I do not know how they got my information, but I am very pissed off.

Same thing happened to me, fortunatley I work for a Credit Counseling Organization and I know my rights and by law they are supposed to provide you with all information. Yes, the confirmed my s.s. and my e-mail, but believe it or not, bureaus and some companies sell your info to others. Dont be afraid to hang up or report them. to provide them with any bank info or anything else, they are trained to scare you and make them give you what they need and want. Call them back and act the same way they are acting and youll see that they will hang up.

This just happened to me.  I was called a F---ING [***] numerous times.  Very thick Indian accent with lots of background noise.  Who do I complain to?  It was very disturbing that he had my SS# and email.  I have NEVER taken a payday loan.  When I told him I found this feed and was reporting him, he hung up.

Wants to know contact information for my lawyer. Won't give me any information about the "complaint" When I said I have a right to know who is "complaining", I was told he didn't care about my rights, he would send the suppeona to my place of employment and hung up on me. When I called back, he immediately called me by name and yelled at me that I was being uncooperative and they would send the suppeona to my place of empolyment...I told if he couldn't give me any information about this matter, then this must be a SCAM!!!!! and slammed the phone in his ear.

I just got a phone all from them (person on the phone said his name was Eric Watson) saying they are a law firm (Clifford Lizard & Associates). They were asking for one of my staff who fell pray to them before as she thought she had an outstanding loan that was sent to collections. Beware this is a scam!

i just had the same thing happen to my husband like an hr ago and said that he was a lawyer and that we took a payday loan and that they were going to charge my husband with check fraud even though we hadnt and make matters worse they had my email address and said that they had my husbands socal too i dont know what to do but it scared the crap out of me i am a stay at home mom and my husband is the only one that works these people are crazy do i contact the cops someone help

Same thing... called my house 6x and a VFW Post where i volunteer with the same story. A payday loan. an email address i do not use registered with my DSL acct to my home number thru ATT. He gave me 1.5 hrs to wire money to him PERSON TO PERSON with a Green Form from Western Union to a DAVID GOOD to BRADENTON FL 34205. HE SAID HIS NAME WAS PAUL MARSHALL . I called the police and am going in to talk to them in the morning. somebodys gotta stop these people and they got the wrong person when they called me. it took all i ahd to not call him back and tell him he has till the morning when he will meet the police.

Call the police and contact your bank.  This just happened to me and they made 2 withdrawls from my bank account by hacking into it.

did you shop at restaurant depot in 2011? I got a letter from them saying information was hacked and successfully stolen. The police suggested this was related. The Name i got was David Good. I did go to my lawyer and he called this man back as he suggested in his message to me and many others to do. My lawyer called me back after speaking to him to tell me he was just as rude to him as he was to me.  The Man from this number called me back during the callback from my lawyer. My lawyer told me to take the call so i did. The man with the accent proceeded to tell me he had spoken to my lawyer and that my lawyer agreed with him that i should be arrested. It made me laugh at that piont becausei was able to say to him that  my lawyer was on the other line with me advising me to call the police on him (the man with accent.)I was sent to the cyber-crime dept because i had good info on the caller and records of his actions/requests/demands. Good Luck all, HANG UP ON HIM.

They called my dad and told him the same thing - saying that he was going to be arrested and they were suing him!

I got 3 calls today left a voice message on my phone telling me I had better get my lawyer to call them about this matter did not say what it was but told me I should not disregard this call if I did all he could say was he wished me luck

Andy Brown keeps calling my work number, cell number stating that he is calling from a law office leaving this number 732-722-1554.  Leaving threatening messages on my voicemail. Saying that I owe for a heyday loan that I have not taken out!

keeps calling my cell phone and at work saying i have a pay day loan and im going to be arrested when i know i dont owe any money his name i think is paul marshall
