- Amy| 6 repliesGot a call from an autodialer saying that "work is available at our South Amboy office." The message said only that it was "easy phone work" in a "fun environment." The only contact information provided was this 800 number, and I can find no information about the owner of the phone number.
- --curious enough to call replies to Amy| 3 repliesI received a call from a human who identified herself as Rita, calling from 732 727-0080. The call went to my answering machine. When I looked up this number on this site, your post came up....
The name of the company is Community Support, Inc. in South Amboy, NJ They do professional fund-raising telemarketing. - davek replies to --curious enough to call| 2 repliesThey're still at it in April 2009. Jeez.
- Watup replies to davek| 1 replyI know right? They called me a few weeks ago! What do they want?
- gimmeaBREAK replies to WatupThey haven't even called me and their stupid add is STILL hanging in the bus stop shelter on route-9 around Sayreville, NJ.
- crazyquiltpatcherI just checked my home answering machine. . . got a recorded message the same as listed in previous posts here. Claimed to have jobs available that pay between "$8 - $12 per hour" and that "you could set your own hours". Also advised that they were conveniently located in "South Amboy" and that you could get there by train or bus.

- elloryReceived call at 1248PM on 9/16/09. I am on the Do Not Call list and did not authorize this company to call me,
They provided no way to opt out

- SGJust got this call today @ 11:50am. I am on the DNC list as well. I called the 732-727-0080 number the recording gave me and told them that I was going to file a DNC violation. In response I was threatened. Since I'm only about 15 minutes outside of South Amboy, I intend on tracking these people down in person and seeing what they have to say when I walk in their front door.

- SG| 6 repliesFor anyone else's reference: "Community Support Incorporated" is apparently a new business name. The information for these cretins is: All PRO Telemarketing, 131 North Broadway, South Amboy, NJ, 08879, 732-727-0080. I called their office and verified the address, so if anyone wants to grab a baseball bat and meet me at the front door, let me know. There's a "Monticello Bistro Cafe" at that address, looks like it could be a little strip mall/office space type thing. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl ... 303776684,-1.88
- crazyquiltpatcherI received not just one but TWO robo-calls on my answering machine today, 10/8. I called 732-727-0080 and spoke with Chris Ryan @ 12:47PM & told him I want off the call list (even though I am already registered on the DNC list). . he said he would take care of it immediately.
BTW, the phone is answered as Community Support Incorporated. When I asked if I had reach All Pro Telemarketing Chris Ryan advised that the company is "Community Support Incorporated, formerly All Pro Telemarketing". . . .hmmm, could this be an attempt at fraud by changing names so it is harder to follow up on them???
We will see. . . .I get one more call & I start looking toward legal remedies. - tiredofitallLegal remedies are the only solution. Look up "Operation False Charity" and you will learn more about CSI. Best thing to do is report the unwanted calls to your state's attorney general. Community Support has been in business for many years, but you are correct that it used to be named All-Pro Telemarketing, which is now banned from soliciting in New York. Phone directories often take way too long to be brought up to date.
- TinaI rec'd a call today, yesterday, last month, the month before that. I am tired of rec'ng these calls. I am on the DNC list, I do not know how they got my telephone number, but I am going to attempt to call the BBB about them soliciting
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ChikoIt was about their new "office" at South Amboy for fun and easy jobs, etc. Just as posted by the first post. The Caller ID is shown up as something else though.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ChrisSame here. They call my house about once a month. I'm also on the DNC list. I've filed reports with the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Communications Commission that they are in violation of the Do Not Call law, but it doesn't do any good.

- Ben Riptov replies to Amy| 1 replyI called this number and the guy said that they are calling everyone offering them employment to solicit money for non profit groups for cancer, when i asked questions he got defensive and told me I had no business asking him these questions, and he would put my number on their do not call list, since he wouldn't give further information, I believe anyone who gets a call from 231-732-2285 asking you to call 732-727-0080 shopuld call the Federal Trade Commission and report this as a scam.
- mattman replies to Ben RiptovIf you do star 57 the call will automatically be traced and reported to the proper authorities
- annonymous| 1 replyNo less than 1% of the gross proceeds actually go to particular fundraisers!

- Ellen replies to SG| 5 repliesDon't go there with a baseball bat. I used to work there after I was laid off my regular job. Thank God for CSI. Not that its great, but it was something to get me thru a tough time. Yes, they make bothersome calls but it is providing employment to people who really need it. Nobody does this because its what they dream of doing but at those times when you've lost your income its a big help
- telemarketers-r-scum replies to Ellen| 4 repliesSo it's ok to steal money from people under false pretenses so you can make a "living"? You should be in jail. Anyway, if you don't want visits from people with baseball bats, how about tire irons? Or .44 magnum? That's what you deserve.
We just want the calls to stop. We don't care if you have a job or live in cardboard box or whatever. - Ellen replies to telemarketers-r-scum| 3 repliesWe called people and asked them to contribute to a charity. If they asked what percentage of their contribution actually went to that charity we told them the truth. Its a tiny percentage. Most people hung up. Some people still gave. We did not force them to give money. In fact, most people pledge and few actually send. Anyway, I did it for a few months. I hated the work but needed it desperately.
I did get one man on the phone while calling for a missing children charity. He started crying and said that particular charity had been very helpful in returning his little boy who had gone missing. He pledged $100 and sent it in that week.
If you think I should be shot with a .44 magnum, or beat up with tire irons for trying to raise my little girl during a very tough time, you are a sick, probably very young and pampered individual. Take your baseball bat and shove it.
