Call but won't leave a message

Call with no message.  New Jersey?

I'm in the 916 area code and when we get calls from out of the area we pick up, say nothing. There was dead air on the other end on so this was another robo call with a spoofed number.

calls says nothing.. hangs up.. the FTC & FCC should merge and change their name to "DGaS"... Don't Give a Sh*t...  My # is on the Federal Do Not Call List... i still get these type calls regularly.
Who do you report to..  this sidebar (vent a little) comment site.. All telemarketers that do not adhere to the "Do Not Call List" should be deported to Mars.. for human experimentation.

robo call/spam/scam offering small business loans

has called me twice this morning.. not in my area code

Recorded message said our health care organization qualified for a business loan up to $250,000. It continued saying to press 1 to speak to someone and answer a one page questionnaire or press 2 to be removed from the calling list. Pressed 2 and will see if this continues again.

We keep getting these calls and we are not a business.   We just don't answer the landline at all anymore but I do check the caller ID log and it's absolutely insane how many calls we get every week day.   And 100% of them are solicitors and scammers.   Getting the landline saved us money on internet and cable.   Makes me wonder if providers are getting kickbacks from these crooks.
