Anne from Account Services letting me know I can lower my credit card rate to 4.99%,

Called and I heard background noise like other operators and they hung up.

Didn't accept call since didn't recognize number.  My numbers are supposed to be on don't call lists.

They called my nubmer around noon Central today.  didn't recognize, so didn't answer.

This is the second time I received a call from this number.  Since I did not recognize it and my ONLY number is now my cell this is an unwanted call.  In looking it up on the Web, it seems it is unsolicited calls about credit cards.

Unsolicited call regarding extending my credit. Pretty sure it's a scam, and if it's not, it's a sketchy sales technique.

Received a call from the number. Was told to push 1 to lower my interest rate to my card. Didn't know which specific card so I thought I would push 1 to see who the heck was calling and the connection dropped.

Unsolicited call to my cell.  Presumed an attempted scam since the recorded voice claimed to be from my credit card provider, but couldn't be bothered/failed to identify the name of the purported provider, despite the proclaimed "urgent" nature of the call.

Just received the unsolicited call to my cell.  Didn't pick it up as I didn't recognize the number.  No vm left. Glad to see these posts.  Thanks.

Received a call on my cell, answered it and was put on hold after pushing 1 to "lower my credit card interest rate" I only chose 1 to see what they would say. The first person wouldn't answer who they where but said, "I didn't personally call you" & then someone came on the phone claiming to be a supervisor. I found this all odd because I was being perfectly nice. The 'supervisor' said they were with any of my visa or master cards which I know is a load of lies so I told them I don't have any credit cards. He said we'll remove your number...sounded very much like a scam being that they won't provide any information. I reminded him its illegal to call at the hour he did. Hope that helps someone. Curious though, does anyone know how they might get your number? I'm very discrete with mine but apparently not enough.

I received an unsolicited call from this number at 6:11pm PST on Tuesday, Aug 16 - I did not answer it because I did not recognize the number. When I did the search on line I found they are offering to lower my debt.....don't need it don't want it.
I am on the do not call list.....

I received a call from this number @ 6:06PM (PST) on Aug. 16, 2011.  Thanks for the the information from  everyone else.  No vm was left on mine, either.

Don't answer.  DOn't press 1 if you accidentally do answer.  Remember that some of these scammers also have phone-specific tricks up their sleeves, and you could get a reverse charge of some sort for the call.

I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  Death to the scammers!

GOT CALL FROM THIS NUMBER ON CELL PHONE.  WONDERED WHERE THEY GOT THE NUMBER AS I DON'T GIVE OUT NUMBER.

Gotta be another scam. Don't answer it. If I wanted my credit card interest reduced, I'd contact my card holder and there's no need for anybody to be calling. Scam. SCAM !!!

My spouse and I have been getting them on our land line and now on our cells. Bad new is I now have their number. Normally it's goes "This is Rachell from card services with an important message about your account!" Then "There is nothing wrong with your account. It is most important to contact us at once..."

Best thing is for all of use to complain to the NJ Attorney General

Did anyone activate their Facebook Mobile app shortly before receiving this call?  The app tries to grab your number and post it, it might also be selling your number to third parties.  Just a theory.

just called back this number and a recording tells you that it is now disconnected.
