Keeps calling without ceasing. There ought to be a law vs. this kind.

got about 15 calls from this number

This number keeps calling and when I dial it back it's always busy.

I also receive calls from this number everyday.  It is some NJ police organization that wants donations. Even after I said no I don't want to give they call.  This is harassment.

The fellow said he was a paid representative of the Community Awareness Center and they are raising funds for disabled police officers.

Found the Disabled Police Officers of America organization online (http://www.sos.wa.gov/charities/search_detail.aspx?charity_id=20824) and they spend 12% of their annual budget on actual services.

They do keep calling. Person also said he was from the Firefighters and EMS foundation. Earlier calls were for the police foundation. Seems Like total BS. Return calls are not picked up. He says he will mail you the papers. DO NOT GIVE THIS PERSON MONEY!!!!!!!

They called and gave us an attitude asking for my mother. The guy kept asking for her when we would ask who this was first. Once we told him she wasn't here, hes like "I'll call back" and hangs up. Two seconds later my mother comes home and we call back this number and there was no answer.

If these people want donations from us, they shouldnt give us a [***] attitude over the phone, because thatll just make people NOT want to donate from inconsiderate [***].

Guy calls tonight.  I tell him I've told this number to stop calling me.  He starts arguing it's a shared line, he hasn't called me himself & his voice gets keeps getting louder as he continues.  Now, tell me, how does he expect a solicition by screaming at the customer?  I finally hung up in mid-diatribe.  Sadly, I expect to hear from them again.  :(

hang up on my machine, when I've answered there is no one there.  They call every day about 1:00pm

Yep, very similar thing happening here too, if I let my answering machine take the call they never leave a message, just keep calling. Isn't there some place to report these people to so they can be shut down?

Calls several times weekly and does not leave a message when I don't pick up.

I've been getting this call everyday but do not even answer.  The same police organization called a couple years ago too wanting money and getting extremely irate when I questioned them.  I make it a point never to do any business over the phone especially for donations.  If it is truly legitimate, you will get an info packet from your local police.  It definitely was harrassment.  Don't even bother to answer the call and hopefully it will stop for awhile.

I love these people totally legit.

i received a call from this number and gave very generously at the amount of 100 dollars. went to my accountant and he said it was a 100 % tax deductible. i needed a tax break, obviously this is real.

time 2 get a new accountant!
