They called, trying to get information on electricity bill.

I have received numerous calls, nothing left on the answering machine. How do I stop it?

I received many calls from 732-945-5706, it frustrated me for a while,I tryed to call back, but not even a ring from a land line.Then I called via Google Phone Connection and it actually rang,but whom ever was on other end kept hanging up on me.I did figure it was computer generated #, but I still due not Know the person or company doing,does anyone Know?

got a call also today any info you found out would be greatly appreciated they asked about my name and national grid my electric supplier then hung up called number back and number was not in service

please dont call my number a gain so why someone know my number

Yes, I know.  It's from Red Bank, NJ.  They are extremely persistant.  They want all the information on your gas/electric bill.  Including address, pron charice of delivery of gas and of electric, merchant function charges, gross receipt tax, and tax on delivery charge.  The individual's name was MATTHEW.  He stated he was representative of CITIZENS CHOICE ENERGY.  Stated he could save money on all the formentioned items without changing companies currently used for electric and gas.  I researched CITIZENS CHOICE ENERGY and the company appears legitamate, and supports green energy and is engaged in numerous aspiring activities.  Their site also states they are hiring numerous representatives apparently as this MATTHEW.  Apparently they are not paid very well, as Ironically, I received another call just an hour ago!  Must have received calls from Red Bank, NJ at the frequency of 20-30 per month!

You have the right to be protected from harrassing phone calls you do not want to receive.
Legally this is called AGGRAVATED HARRASSMENT.  To allege a charge of aggravated harrassment, you must advise the caller that you no longer wish to receive phone calls from his company.  After this advisement, if caller persists in calling you a minimum of three more times, then this constitutes Aggravated Harrassment.  You may report this to local police in your local jurisdiction and/or contact the attorney general's office which is listed in your local phone book or may be received by calling 411.  Aggravated Harrassment is a class A misdemeanor and carries a maximum of one year maximum in jail by all state laws.  If the caller is from out of state, aggravated harrassment over state lines is a FEDERAL offense and can carry more severe penalties.  Generally speaking, they will probably not be charged with a crime, however they will be contacted by local police or attorney general, and after which I guarantee they will cease and decist on calling you!

I am tired of the people calling to asking to speak to the person who pays the electric bill.  Well guess what it is the US GOVERNMENT --- live on a military installation.
