calls from Michigan.

Called asked for me by name, I said "this is he" and then the called hung up.

Just happened to me as well.  Answering machine without ID picked up when I returned the call.  Female voice with a tone like she knew me when she called, asked for me by name and then hung up.  4-17-2008 8:48am EST.

"Hello?"
"Hi, may I speak to <my wife>"
"May I ask who's calling?"
"This is Erin" in a tone trying to sound like a friend of my wife's
"Erin from where?"

The person that called sounded like a young child...ask for me by name...hung up after asking for me.

same as all the others someone needs to find out what the hell this is

Same as above, called it back and there was an interesting voicemail message

the female asked for me by name...when i said ...this is yolanda speaking....she hung up.....

Answered the call, a woman asked me: "is <my name> there?", to which I responded: "yes, that's me", and then she hung up. I didn't call back to avoid my number to get into their possible callbacks database. I instead searched at google and found this thread.
Does anyone got any further call from that number or got another weird call after that?

Asked for me by name, when  I said, "speaking", the caller hung up.  Very annoying.

A female voice asked for my husband by name, when I said he was not here she then asked if this is Kelly, I said yes and she hung up.

Same as everyone else.  Call ID says Michigan call.

Bill collection for a credit card is what I asked them they just Hung up after asking for name

I just got a call, they asked for my name, and then hung up
