- kayceeSomeone called, the voicemail picked up and I heard a lady say hello. I heard another gentleman in the background talking saying I'll call you back... This evidently is a telemarketer's call.

- techrepReceived a call from this number last evening. Machine picked up - guy burped, said excuse me and hung up!
- Caller: Unknown
- tiffyTelemarketer for "Breast Cancer", told him to send me material for my consideration. "no problem, let me transfer you" to someone who would confirm my call and send out material. Lady went through her routine and then said she was 'confirming' my $15 pledge! at which point I said 'no, no, I have made no pledge, you're to send me your material to review'. When she responded she could not do that without a pledge, I said goodbye and hung up. In today's mail I received my "invoice" from " Good Charity Inc showing a pledge amount of $15 and asking for another $2. Good Charity Inc registered with MI in 12/2010 but NO other data. Googled National Breast Cancer Awareness Fund and found no exact match! Now heading straight for the shredder.

- Escape WisconsinWoman saying that she was from Breast Cancer Awareness. I immediately stopped her and said, "I am aware of Breast Cancer. Job well done... please remove me from your list". Pause was for household of people hearing my conversation and laughing... also for woman to regain her own composure and to actually comply with my request. We'll see. (BTW I donate to BC research on the side and do not need a telemarketer to prod me to do so.) Caller ID only shows MICHIGAN.
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- BethI am on the do not call list - why would someone from this number be calling me?
- jaimeThis person called and my 10year old son answered. We were next door at the neighbors and they yelled at him to go get us.
- Caller: unknown
- RosaThis is a scam. Caller ID showed only "Michigan" The caller requested Mrs **** and identified himself as a U.S. Marine Corp rep on behalf of some Breast Cancer fund (no specific fund supplied) When I politely requested to be removed from their database, he said no, he will not do that and then became sarcastic and rude. I quickly thanked him, hung up, then promptly blocked the number .
These scam artists do a huge disservice to all branches of both the U.S. Armed Forces and all legitimate Cancer funds which DO display their identities and phone numbers.
While I've used this site regularly to check numbers from unknown sources (all of which so far have been pure scammers) I've never posted a comment until now. I've gotten much useful info here, and hopefully mine will be helpful to others who get calls from this number.
I also hope that this website logs and forwards our complaints to the legitimate outfits being impersonated. Thank you for this service.- Caller: Michigan
- FlatquasarThis is a Michigan based telephone scam. Prople claim they are collecting money for Breast Cancer Awareness, when questioned they claim they are Good Charity, Incorporated.
Note the Inc part folks. 1st, charities are not incorporated. They are non-profit organizations. 2nd. Charities do not solicit funds by telephone for two reasons, one its rude and two, to protect people. I've been a member of American Philanthropuc Association for years. We assess & rate charities. None of our hundreds of approved charities from March of Dimes to United Fund solicit by phone. This is also true for Police Charities and Veterans groups.
Only political groups, primarily Democratic Party groups disturb people at home by calling them. You will get plenty off those calls soon from Unions in the tank with Democrats. - Dan Wallenmale voice asked for me by name when I answered the ring. He said he was with the Marines. I said please remove me from your list and he said " no I will not do that do you hear me." I then hung up.
- BazzReceived call from this number. Let it go to the answering machine. No one said anything and then hung up. I am on the "Do not call list."
- Shelly Blondini do not know who this is, but i am on a do not call list. there is never any one there and it rings two times, then nothing. i am tired of this since it happend several times
- Caller: unknown,
- TommyI never answer the phone for these types of calls. I keep getting calls from this number and it just shows Michigan on the caller ID. I leave the machine pick it up but they never leave a message so I figured it can't be too important. They call here at least 2 or 3 times a day. I'm also on the do not call list but I still get these crank calls.

- Sue UrasoffThis guy calls me up from this number the other day and he starts talking to me like he knows me, like we are old friends or something, telling me about his life and how hard he has it because telemarketers only make minimum wage and he has 12 kids to feed and all this type of stuff. So I tell him that yeah, I know what you mean, see I made a donation to help some folks that were having a hard time just like he was but come to find out some scumbag took 85% to 90% of the money I gave that guy to do something good with. So he promises that if I help him and his group out he will make sure that the money goes exactly where he says it will go because he works for a company called Good Charity Inc, run by this Brian Maiorana guy and that Brian is always running around showing up at other peoples charities and taking pictures and stuff so he can put it on his website and use it to raise more money. Well come to find out that Brian Maiorana was no different then that other guy that took my money for charity and used it to buy an expensive car and a big house. I told the guy on the phone that if he wanted help with his paycheck problem then he would have to contact Damian Muziani the owner of Outreach Calling Inc and ask him for the money he should have used for charity. Turns out that Damian Muzaini is an actor and he needed the money to go out on auditions for acting roles. He did manage to get himself on Average Joe and Who wants to be a millionaire but as for helping out the people he said he was helping out, well, that never happened.
After that the guy on the phone just started crying telling me he would have to eat cat food for dinner if I did not give him a donation to this Good Charity Inc and Brian Maiorana or maybe even lose his minimum wage job and then not even be able to buy the cat food. So I told him how bad I felt for him and gave him the info Damian Muziani and if he could convince him to sell his fancy car use the money to feed they homeless like they said they would that I am sure Damain Muziani would be happy to give him enough money for him to buy some food.
I found this online but it has all his info on it so for all of you at Good Charity Inc that work for Brian Maiorana, just contact Damian Muziani and I am sure, or at least I think he will help you out. Whats the worse that could happen, he yells at you because Brian Maiorana could not get a better then 85% contract with the charity, while Damian Muzaini was able to talk the Charities he reps out of 90%.
And after you take note of his info below, you be sure to reach the articles below that from the BBB and Charity Watch about what kind of a scam Good Charity Inc is and what they found out when they went looking for the money this poor cat food eating telemarketer raised.
I am currently an employee at the Outreach Calling call center. The address is 4751 Route 42 South Turnersville NJ 08012. It is above the liquor store. Damian Muziani is the owner. As employees, we are told that the reason we only donate 1-15% of the proceeds we collect is because the rest is used to keep the building operational and everyone's paycheck coming in each week. But if we only collect that much for charity, isn't the organization itself kind of unnecessary? Yep. I am currently searching for another job, as I am quite fed up with getting paid to swindle money from people over the phone. If you are called, to the best of my knowledge the best thing to do would be to request to speak to a verifier, then request that you be removed from the list. If you tell that to a regular call rep (the person pitching the sale to you) the best we can do is hit "Not Interested" which will remove you from the list for that specific organization for about 6 months. You will still be called from the same number in the meantime, but you will be asked to donate for different organizations. I am not sure, but I believe hitting "Business/Fax" as opposed to not interested removes you from that specific list permanently, however we would probably get fired for doing that on purpose. Talking to a verifier should remove you from all lists permanently, but it depends if they actually do it. They are supposed to, and I have seen them do it before, but they try to avoid it as much as they can. As has been said here before, never donate through a third party. Always give to your preferred charity directly. I hope I have been of use.

The BBB put out a warning about them http://www.bbb.org/blog/2013/01/bbb-alerts-do ... ity-fundraiser/
What happens when members of a fundraising firm start charities? Today’s Better Business Bureau press release questions the relationship between a Michigan charity and the fundraising firm it uses to raise money.
Good Charity Inc. is based in Michigan but is licensed to do business in 24 states. Good Charity’s founder, Brian J. Maiorana, formerly worked for Insight Teleservices, also of Michigan, a company that makes money soliciting donations for charities. That firm has an F rating with the BBB.
A contract between Good Charity and Insight calls for Insight to retain 85 percent of the funds it raises for the charity. In 2011, Good Charity reported that it received just $180,000 from the $1.4 million Insight raised on its behalf that year. The charity made grants of $75,000, or about five cents for each dollar in donations.
Good Charity is an umbrella organization for 10 related organizations with names suggestive of the kinds of causes or people they assist. The names include:
Terminally Ill Children’s Fund
United States Paralyzed Veterans Fund
Children’s Leukemia of America Fund
National Breast Cancer Awareness Fund
Disabled Veteran Wheelchair Games
Michigan Disabled and Paralyzed Veterans Fund
Disaster Relief and Aid Fund
Disabled and Paralyzed Veterans Fund
America’s Missing Children Fund
The Autistic Society Fund
The BBB has the following tips for donors:
If you are solicited by a telemarketer, ask the names of both the fundraiser making the call and the charity he or she is representing. Ask how much of your contribution goes to the charity and how much is retained by the fundraiser.
If you are solicited by mail, understand that a portion of your contribution may go to a for-profit company hired to run the campaign. Call the fundraiser or charity and ask how much of your money the charity will receive.
Contact the charity to find out how it uses donations from the public. Will it provide direct aid to families, buy medical supplies or be used for education or research?
Check the charity’s BBB Charity Review at www.bbb.org.
