The number 734-359-9228 (Pinckney, MI)--just called and no one there when I answered the call.  I called the number, and the recording said this number is not a valid number.  Go figure!

Just received a phone call from this phone number. I never answer calls where I don't recognize the number or name unknown. I let my answering machine pick up. Who ever it was didn't leave a message. When I called the number back, it wasn't in service.  I'm on a no call list but it seems like I'm getting more calls then I ever did before,

was looking for donations for "insight for living" or something I couldn't remember some BS... When I asked to be removed from their list they asked for MY number, I passed.

Been getting a call about 1030am or so on sat and sun for the last couple of weeks. rings about 4 times and thats it.  I sleep in on weekends and I'm not very happy about it waking me up.  I gave a donation to a couple of well known organizations a few months ago.  I believe that the soliciter that is calling is a call center that contracts with many fund raising groups.  They are biting the hand that feeds them if they continue to call.

I received a message from this number and the woman on the other end started swearing about her boyfriend.

Called the house landline; didn't leave a message.

Just rec'd. my 1st call from these people - 10:23am in NJ. I didn't answer & they didn't leave a message. *shrug*

Same thing here...this number has called two days in a row so far. 'Name unavailable' comes up on caller id...how annoying is this??? how can it be stopped.

Got a call from them around 1pm (EST) and got some wise ass on the other end.  called it back it was hudson valley hospital, they said they've had some problems with prank callers.

Just received a call from this number. Caller ID said it was coming from Michigan, and I don't know anyone in that state, so I let it ring.  It rang about 4 times then quit...no message left.

I too am on a no call list but it doesn't seem to help. I called the number back and said I had reached this number in error. I don't understand how the telephone companies can hand out telephone numbers to people who do this and there are a lot of them.

They called and asked for a name I did not recognize. Heard laughing in the back ground. They did not ask any personal information. I do'nt get what the propose was.

Are these guys just trying to get us to pay one of these reverse lookup companies?

This week I have received numerous calls from Michigan (which is an out of state call).

I am on the National Do Not Call List but it doesn't help because charities by law can still call asking for donations.

Got called this evening on land line and no one was there. No ID

This person called today and my mother answered the phone. The person sounded like a young girl and asked for my name, "Shane". When my mom said I wasn't there, the just said bye and hung up.

received my third call today.  called back once and get no answer; just rings a lot then stops.

This number calls our house on a daily basis, sometimes twice a day! When I answer, they immediately hang up. How can I block these??

Just call your phone company and ask them to stop the calls. Also put your name on the Do Not Call registry, and maybe that will stop the calls, too. Weird how advanced technology is these days...
