this person called for a specific person in the household said they were calling in response to an internet request for information on continuing education.  The person he was calling for does not have access to the internet.

This person called me as well and seemed as if they were trying to get me to give more information than was necessary. I had recently called a number of agencies to help me find the best place to get my master's, so I did not think anything of it at first. However, the man on the phone said he was with Education Authority, which doesn't appear to exist in the U.S., let alone in Michigan, which is where he called from. I just called the non-emergency line for the police department after I had them look up the number. Apparently it sounds like a legitimate company and they call people who have responded to them via mail, e-mail, or university inquiries/services.

someone called me from this number but would not come on line even after I said hello several times. I could not hear anythiing - just empty space - but they would not hang up for several seconds so I hung up and reported them on this site. I do not know who they are but my suggestion is that they are some kind of predator and it would be wise to block the number so that they would not find out where you lived or any other information about you. I suspect that they could be dangerous.

Yes, the same thing just happened to me right now. I hope they are not dangerous!! You can't trust anyone these days.

Ever since I registered for my GMAT test I have been getting calls from universities and other places regarding continuing my education. the places call multiple times a day starting around 8 am.  I have received about 5 calls from this specific number already.

This number has been calling me daily for the past 2 weeks.  Never leaves a message, when I answer, no one is there.

Who are these tele market people ?  Why do they keep calling

Annoying, isn't it....  How do you register this number on the (Do not Call List)?  This number calls every day, with no response and or voice mail.  Somebody help me get these Bozo's to stop calling me.  Your help would be much appreciated.

Just received a call with no caller ID not in my phone book so I did not answer phone,never left message

This number has called me several times and doesn't leave a message. If its that important they can leave a message. Im starting to get annoyed

I've had this number ring my cell phone several times in the last few days. As it is unknown to me, I have not answered it. They have left no message. As I am actively looking for a job, and have my resume on Careerbuilder and Monster, I'm not surprised when I get these kind of calls. It is terrible. Beware of scams!
