Phone dies!!!

I received a call from this number saying they had an affidavit with my name and if I don't call them back they will start legal proceedings against me. Man identified himself as Officer Jack Grimm(?), had thick Indian accent and lots of background noise. Hard to understand and number he left was difficult to understand and seemed to be missing a digit.

I got call, the guy told me There is law suit against me. I ignored it. They call me back, and I told them don't call me again otherwise I will report to police.

Ignore it!

Then called many times. I ignored calls and finally left a message with area code 717 but one digit was missing
The person had harassing tone...

Got a call from this number with person claiming to be Officer Michael Smith from State Investigation Dept based in Philadelphia. When I questioned him he put me on hold while trying to bring in his supervisor Mike Johnson. I disconnected. They tried calling again, but as I was driving, I did not pick up and they left a long threatening VM.
".....Officer Michael Smith from state investigation dept calling....have tried calling you several times, but you are not taking our calls, you are not taking this seriously. My supervisor Mike Johnson also tried calling but you disconnected. you are in a legal mess. If you want to find details, call back 717-826-5988...You are in big legal trouble....No one can help you from going behind bars, till then good luck....."

I also received a call from this number saying that I have not paid my taxes and IRS has issued an arrest warrant against me. These people think that they can make anybody a fool and get money. I told them let the police arrest me. They told me that they are transferring the call to police. I told them I am staying on the call and will be happy to coordinate a time with them today to get me arrested. So please transfer the call to police. They transferred somewhere and the call got disconnected. I called police and made a complain against these folks.

- I am an Indian too and the US government should track this kind of Peoples who make the Phone calls and intrude in our houses

There is always a trace back to this kind of numbers.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

These are 3 Indian people calling from India and only harasses indians. I am after them for the last 4-5 months. Call them back and use choicest words whichcomes to your mind. Press *671 followed by their number. Your identity will appear as private caller. He told me that he is raju Patel and is in this extortion business since last 4 years and No one can touch him. Not even CIA or FBI . When talking to them, vent out just as kareena Kapoor did in ' jab we met'

I never answered these calls so today i started calling all the #In my phone i have like 4 scam #but this number said it was disconnected i also got calls from monarch recovery and CCS and a guy saying i or my lawyer need to call him back

IRS scam. First they called from a Florida number saying that I owed upwards of 5,000 in taxes, which was untrue. The caller continued to harass from various phone numbers which I blocked, and eventually began calling from a private phone number. They threatened arrest, etc. Pay no mind to these calls, definitely a scam.

Just got a call, Indian accent, saying I have pending charges against me from IRS.  Funny, I don't owe them.  They're cowards for running scams like this.  Told him I was a lawyer, lie,  and that "OUR" government doesn't run matters like this, true.  Said I would be arrested. Asked where is the legal document that has to be certified and delivered to me before they can even say this.  Silence.  Hung up.
