apparrent craigslist scammer based on google search, asking for personal information from afar so that he can send a check for more than the list price of the item.

Got an offer for $50 more than asking price to hold table and chairs.  Was wanting to send a check and asked for name and address.  Typed his number in search bar of internet and found this warning.  Same number and same caller name.  I had already asked him if he could use Pay Pal and have not received a response.

If you are selling something on Craigslist, DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL PAYMENTS!

thanks for the link.  I only asked him about using PayPal AFTER I saw this site and figured he was a scammer.  I will only accept cash for my items when they are picked up.  I'm glad I saw 800notes!
