Recording scam.  Caller blocks phone number & company on caller ID.  That's a red flag not to trust said company, which it didn't say.
Recording said they wanted to go over my DP&L account which was flagged for review. They see I have a pending discount available & need to call them to receive my discount.  News flash, this isn't DP&L calling to give me any discount.  It's a competitor or just someone wanting personal info.  This is the number they gave to call them back at.  Area code 740 is quite a ways off from me.

Got the same call from them twice with the identical message that they were from DP&L and had a discount for me.  Saw another web site that identified the caller as a competitor communications company.

Same message from Melissa Overton once on my landline and again on my cell. The call originates from 740-214-0137, quite a distance from where I live. Definitely a scam. Why doesn't the "Call type" box below include Scam, Illegal Impersonators, or a category that more accurately describes these types of calls. Telemarketer is too kind a term for these criminals.

A message a day from "Melisa Overton" pretending to be from DP&L

Susan called claiming to be from DP&L.  I could hear children playing in the background of the message.  I renegotiated my rate about 4 to 6 weeks ago.  In addition, I used to work for DP&L and know this isn't the methodology the use to reach out customers.  Beware!  Do not answer the phone or return the phone call.

My call was different from those posted here so be aware they may have changed to a new scam. They called repeatedly and left a message stating that their office was contacting me because there are multiple allegations against me and they want to speak to me "pre-legal action". It was a robot voice not a real person. Left no name or company name.

James Hilly Jr. sent a text recruiting for Bud Light. To advertise on my car. Yesterday I got a check for over 2,000 dollar payroll. The check had a shoe company on it. The envelop had a retailer store on it. The number provided is goggle WiFi. Definitely a scam.

Probably would have been better for you to be intelligent enough to post in the proper number thread instead of picking one out at random.
