The number 740-236-9990 use to call a year ago all the time. Said nothing. After filing complaints w/fcc it stopped. It has started back up again, even on Sun. nights. I investigated and this is it. The number is attached to Level 3 Communacations out of Marietta, OH. It is ran by CT Corporation System 1300 East Ninth St., Cleveland OH .The signing agent in 2005 was Sylvia Queppet. A new authorized agent on 2-10-2012 named Jaimie Voss.  It filed a foreign LLC in OH but is based in Delaware. CSC Lawyers Incorporationg Service filled it. The VP for the CT Corporation System that signs for the company is Richard J Parker.  His home number is [removed]

I just called 302-737-4887 and asked them to stop calling...thanks for this info.

Just received a call from this #, let it go to voicemail, they said nothing. Will be watching for them!

Thank you, these people have called numerous times and I have wanted them and am filling complaint b with the FCC as well. Thank you for the information, seriously.

Just so you all know, the above us incorrect information. This is my family and they do not run a business. Someone has hacked into their information and those people are using my family's names, address, and phone number. I promise you that they have nothing to do with this. And I am very sorry that you all are being harassed. But they are too from all of you calling them. If you have a problem, I would recommend you try contacting Sylvia  Queppet or Jaimie Voss since they seem to be the root of this problem. If any of you have any recommendations for how to fix this, I would love to hear them. My family would love to solve this problem too.

Unfortunately the scammers,frauds and extortionists spoof numbers and they don't care who they hurt in the process!

Have received two phone calls from this number within 4 hours of each call.  Some guy said his name is Chris.  I hang up as soon as I realize that it is a recording.  I just tried calling the number back and it has been busy the two times I have called.  I am reporting this number to the FCC as we are on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

I just got a call from this number. I didn't pick it up, I just looked online to see what it was all about.

Pest phone call three times this week, including twice today.  No recorded message, no voice--just static-y silence, whether I answer or let it go to voicemail.  Caller ID says Marietta, OH.

Our phone number 4887, address and names have been spoofed by a company called CT Corporation.  We have nothing to do with them.  I have never heard of them until my husband and I started getting nasty phone calls from people saying we are harassing them.  We are not.  This is very upsetting and very scary.  We are being threatened and verbally abused.  People were calling from Virginia area and now we are getting nasty phone calls from Oregon.  Come on people, look into this further before you start calling innocent people.  We, like you are being harassed.  We have called Verizon Fraud department and they let us know that they have taken care of this.  Well, yes, Virginia stopped calling us and now we have Oregon calling.  I answered one call and tried to tell this man we have nothing to do with this.  Needless to say, that was a waste of time.  Next time anyone gets these calls, please call your telephone company to find out who really is harassing you, because it is not us.

two dead calls in 5 minutes 9/25/13. Filed complaint to FCC.

They called me last night at 8:24pm and again today at 5:05pm

Just called a while ago - I don't answer calls I don't recognize. No message was left. I'm also on all the DNC lists. Now I'm glad I didn't answer, after reading these. Why do the FCC and the phone company do absolutely zero to stop this crap?!?!?!?!?!

Received 2 calls from this number today, 1 approx 6pm and another 8:50pm.  Caller ID "Marietta OH"

Did not answer, no msg left.  Ugh.

Okay. We have had it with these intentional law breakers that just enjoy harassing people on both ends.  We recorded a message that says, "You have reach a number that does not accept sales, marketing or informational phone calls. If you have no expressly been asked to callus, please hang up and do not call back. This phone will be our documentation for the FCC for how many calls you harass us with. If you have been asked to call, please leave a message".

It has reduced the calls around 75%. Robo calls still come a little but I don't feel like I have to run to the phone to not miss an important call.
