I have no idea who was calling but they hung up when I asked them to hold on for a second, I was on another phone. They immediately called back.  Then when they didn't have the right last name I questioned it and they just hung up again.  Have no idea who it was, what they wanted and when I called back it just rang and rang.  Nothing comes up on whitepages.com reverse lookup.  Anyone have any ideas?

I get so annoyed with incompetent help!  Why is it I live in America, speak ENGLISH and companies, no matter who they are, hire incompetent help who cannot speak ENGLISH clear enough to understand???

this number called me repeatedly 4 or 5 times in a row.  I ignored the calls because i was in class.. no voicemail was left, and when i called back it just rang.. after i called them back, they called back within 10 minutes.
WHO IN THE WORLD IS THIS?

This phone number appears to be CitiMortgage.  Left a message, not sure what they want.

same thing keeps calling but I have prepaid so I refuse to answer unknown numbers and lose minutes.I didn't think they could call cell phones

I just got a call on my cell from 740-368-0299...I was on the other line and when I hung up...they didn't leave a message...strange...who is calling me? Where is area code 740?

I just got a call from this number earlier today. Not sure if they left a voicemail or not since I haven't checked.

yup, it's CitiMortgage; they called my cell number (where did they get it!) and then called my land line number where the identifier reflected the company name

I have been receiving calls from 13365228998 and 17403680299.  An east indian man and an african-american woman... Both claim that they have business to talk to me about... They seem to be fishing for names, information, and etc.  They ask if you are a relative of so and so...

They claim to be from Citicard or Citibank (but, I followed up with both about my account and they were not trying to contact me). This seems like a phishing scheme...

If they call, I would do two things:  Ask them what is the address of the person they are calling about...? Real credit card people don't give that information over the phone... Ask them to send you a letter... a real credit card person will send any disputes or concerns in writing first... they usually don't call you...

Just received same number call.  Wanted to speak to "Bradley Young"
said it was a number on their list= Citifinancial.  My called id said it was from Delaware, OH.  Caller was foreign male- possibly Indian.  I tried to call back,  got buzy signal, rings with no answer, and one time-number is no longer in service.  It maybe one of those- you can call out lines only.

Sounds like they are fishing for info.

my friend just got a call from this number. the guy on the phone told him that he is from the bank confirming his SSN for his newly opened account. Unfortunately my friend gave his SSN  to the guy. now he is worried about it & dont know what to do....

A man called, had a terrble time understanding him.  Calling me asking for a person that is dead.  Told  him that but he would not give me any info ask me when and I told him I would not give out any more info. I ask where he was calling from and he said India but the number comes back to the states NOT INDIA although he sounded like it.  When he said he was from India I really felt suspcious.

Call from 740 368 0299.  Asked for somebody with my name.  VERY thick Indian accent.  Very difficult to understand.  I can't imagine this being a customer service rep for any real company with such a thick accent.  

When I asked what the called concerned, she mumbled, "Citi?????".  This went on several times.  I could not understand her as her accent was so thick.  

Phishing?  Ask to confirm the address of the person they are calling.  

I called back.  The number was busy. Called again.  No answer and I let it ring a long time.

Suspicious.

Received phone call on my cell phone. I couldn't answer because I was on the phone for work. When I was able, I called the number back from both my desk phone and my cell phone. Both times the line just kept ringing. I let it go on for about 5 minutes on each line. I get really suspicious because I am on the do not call list, so when I see new numbers that I can't identify, I get an uneasy feeling.

Report this on www.whocalled.us  I refuse to answer calls of people I don't know, so I did a search there and nothing came up.  I tried calling back and got the same results as everyone else, no answer.  I had a home loan through CitiMortgage and have a short sale real estate agent dealing with the bank, so they shouldn't be contacting me directly.  I'd go with the fishing theory.  If they call back, I'm going to mess with them, talk jiberish until they get frustrated and hang up.

Just had a call from thi number.  Normally don't answer unknown calls, but I happened to be waiting for a call.  India man knew my name and said he was calling from Citimortage.  I have a loan through them.  He asked if this was a home or cell.  When I told him a cell, he asked if I would like him to update my account with this number.  I thought he sounded fishy, I stated that I would like my account left alone.  He asked if I had any account questions or concerns.  When I said no, he hung up.  Argh, these people are annoying.

Keep getting telemarketing calls despite having my number on the national do not call list.

I got a call wanting me to confirm my address which he stated to me first. I told him that was correct then he hung up.

I received a called from this (1-740-368-0299) number, look like, they are hunting for information. Don't give any kind of information to these people?
