Some BS about" this call is intended for the Mr.*********** and how it concerns legal action which has been taken against you and how I'd better call or have my legal representation call or this could turn into big legal mess for you" and he leaves a phone # to call back. The quotes are just that, exactly what this idiot said to me in an East India accent, this is the 2nd time I've gotten this call after at least a 2month period-if it was so important to me legally not to mention whoever-HA- this idiot represents and if he were for real his law office # should appear above his phone #, kinda helps if you are seriously someones lawyer, add to that the fact that I've not committed anything even close to getting me in trouble with legal ramifications as the result, this is complete BS ! Another site said this # goes back to some place that will steal all your computers info and that this is a scam ! Out of Burbank and or Glendale CA. About all they've done is change the number after looking at my last post under a dif name from 11/30/14-Nice try dips but I ain't biting !

Received a call from this number.  Claimed to be with Dell, had a computer tag number, and appeared to know I had requested media software.  Won't give me a phone number to call him back.  Claimed that he wanted me to login to my computer so he could help me delete virus software.  Pure bull!!!!

I have received several calls on my land line from this phone number since this past Sunday but they never leave a message.  I got a call today on my cell and it was a man with a middle eastern accent saying he was with Microsoft and that my dell computer had been sending out alert messages to Microsoft and he would help me log onto my computer so help me delete an infection.  I told him not to call my home or cell number anymore and that I thought he was trying to scam me.

rec'd call they wanted my credit card info said they were from MSN and I had virus on PC

It defintely wouldnt be Dell. All Dell calls from 1-800-456-3355.

This number has been calling all afternoon (at least 4 times). I do not answer it but the phone only records the most recent call on caller Id.  Mysteriously, the prior calls from this number disappear from the phone log when the caller makes a new call.  The most recent call was at 4:04 PM ET.   I expect the caller will be calling back soon.  I am now keeping a log.

They call claiming to be dealing with a Windows issue on my computer.. Heavy Far East accent. When I asked for number to call him back he hung up

(747) 008-7900 called advising they were from Microsoft and I had a virus on my computer.  I told them to kiss my ...    I'm not buying into their scam.  The dud e hung up.

On March 2, a man with an Indian accent said he was calling from Microsoft Tech Support. I said, "You are a scam artist. Do not call me again" and hung up. I had been getting random calls from strange numbers over a period of about a week. This one was the only call I answered, and (surprisingly) the calls have stopped.

Did not answer call but they left a voicemail that I couldn't even understand. The message would cut in and out.  Figured it was something ridiculous. Just erased it.

I tried to block this number 747-008-7900, TWC would not block it.  They say it is a spoof number.  Leg. numbers cannot end in 0 or 1 so says TWC.  This is a scam, I do not answer calls I do not recognize the number.  It is so frustrating with this all day, and these thieves get so angry when you have as much sense as they do.  Want to curse you out when they can't get their way.   Nice try, in your country you could not pull this. The thing that sits above your shoulder would be on a platter.  ONLY IN AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you got some misinformation, legit phone numbers do end in 0 and 1.  My landline ends in 0 and my sons ends in 1...both are legit.

Get a call blocker, you can block any number with a good call blocker.

The caller said he is from MS. Not True. I have talked to MS in the past about this type of call... MS, said they will not call you. Say "your computer has a Virus". 1St This is A SCAM. 2Nd Block the caller. 3RD RUN...

Number appeared on my cell phone but I never saw/heard the call come in.  Probably same BS.

I think he meant legit phone numbers don't begin with "0" or "1" not end in "0" or "1"

they just called and didn't leave a voicemail...tried to call back and first got "circuits busy" and second try said "wrong number, changed number......"
