The caller was unpleasant and unprofessional.  I did not have time to deal with him, so I am sorry that I do not have any information to offer.  I could not understand the name of the company.

I got a call from this number Thanksgiving day and again on Friday. The caller left no name or number so I have no idea who this call is from.  I hate when folks don't leave any type of information of any kind.  So annoying!

I received two phone calls from this number --- no message.  When I called the number back, I received a message that said the subscriber you are calling is not in service!  Go figure.  I added the number to my "block caller" list.

Yep no way to return the call or get a text or message

Caller rang twice and hung up.  Blocked them on my cell phone.  Area code is from San Andreas California.

Got call I don't answer phone calls from  numbers I don't know said it was from San Fernando CA. San Fernando DA.   I live in PA figure it's a scam spoofing numbers

Received a call from this number, no message left and when you call back it's disconnected.

They left me a message, but it was partially cut off. It says they are a debt collector.

They let the phone ring once and then hung up before I could answer. Left a VM stating to be First Investors Servicing Corp. IDK who that is. Probably some company from India trying to scam money. We need to drop a bomb on them.

I received a call from this number this morning, but when I tryed to return the missed call, it said the number is not in service. Definitly a scammer.

This number has been repeatedly calling me. One ring, then it hangs up. Not tried calling back. The really fun bit? Each call that I never answer costs me 5c!
If that doesn't dsay scammer, I don't know what does.

Keep calling, doesn't leave a message. Attempted to call the number, my phone went nuts and was flashing "invalid number" on the screen. I've never seen that before.

Called this morn, says from a debt collector, with a 800 call back number, Funny how they were Abel to leave a Voice Mail, even tho I Anserwd the line,???????

I got a call from this number this morning but I missed it so I called it back and it made a really annoying sound like a fax machine or something

Called and left message, said it is Financial Asset Management, left return call number.  Since I am a week away from bankruptcy meeting of the creditors, am assuming it has something to do with that.  I've no intention of calling back - bankruptcy court has never mentioned this in all the piles if documents with more than adequate information, so likely these are scammers.

So annoying.  Answered the call.  No one there.  Why bother calling if you're not going to speak?

Wakefield and Associates - The message number is a 1800 number. Strange it can leave a different number on a back door number.

If you got a collection call more than a week after creditors were notified of your bankruptcy filing, they violated the automatic stay on collections. That would put them in contempt of court as well as in violation of fdcpa.

Caller: Informational post

I received a call from this number. The phone barely completed one ring, then stopped. It shows a San Fernando, CA location. Seconds later, my VM pops up with a message from a local number about a debt collection. The company claimed to be United Consumers with call back numbers of 703-497-5000 or 800-736-6615. That company does show up on a Google search with an office in the part of town that matches that area code.

Other than my car and students loans, I have no debt, so I'm guessing this is a scam.
