An eastern-sounding voice (typical software support?) identified himself only as "Windows Technical Support" and proceeded to tell me my computer was infected and that this was not a telemarketing (ploy).  Seems he wanted access to my 'puter.  I said thanks and hung up.  Did a *69 on my land line and came up with this number.

I got this call yesterday and i am in hawaii.  he was pretty pushy and grumpy when i didnt respond. i said we already fixed our problem and he kept on saying things about my windows. I hung up and checked this number and got to read the message on the same way he did talk etc.

got the same call too yesterday...same voice and same words.

got a call from them too. scammers i don't own a computer. will anyone stop these people?  or do we have to wait until they rot in hell?

I've gotten a call from this number twice in last month, telling me my computer is infected.

Called did not leave MSG.  Unknown Name

Didnot answer because unusaul number but not that long ago got a call saying they were from micro soft ware saying they were here to help .When asked where they got our phone number they wouldnot respond and got very persistant and rude hung up on them but worried about hackers thank you .

Call received at 6:20 in the morning, said it was windows technical support. I said they had the wrong number. He said there was a virus on my computer. I told him he was scamming me, illegally trying to get money and better hang up now. He said ok and hung up.

Received call on 10/9 at 11:30 am. Missed it, darn! /sarcasm. But yes I've had quite a few calls telling me I have a virus on my computer. I would play around and say I don't have a computer.. or I have 10..which one.. etc etc.. lol.

I continue to receive calls from this  (753) 159 8624  number with no name, they do not leave a message. In general I never answer calls from numbers that I do no recognize. Ongoing for a few  3 weeks. I am unable to block the number through oceanic time warner website  "my services tele blocking"  rejects stating  "not a valid number." ???

I got the same call this morning.  Funny part is - I use a Mac, I don't use windows!

Harrang calls!  I 'attempted to call back to complain and demand they stop, but when I call I get a recording that the number cannot be completed as dialed!

Getting a lot of these calls too.

My wife says the same thing: "I don't own a computer."  

Not really a lie: she justifies in her own mind by claiming I own it...

She ALMOST  had me convinced. I ask to speak to her supervisor, and some  guy came on with the same speel.Hung up immediately.

Stop calling you creep! Computers are dead!

Hey, I just got the same phone call.  He was telling me to turn on my computer and he will tell me what to do.  I asked him if he knew how many computers that I have in my house and he could not tell me an answer.  After that I told the guy that I do not have Windows and that I am using a MAC computer.  After that he connected me to someone else to get information.  The two techs sounded that same but he said his name was Chris and the first guys name was Matt.  The guy Chris kept going on and I kept telling him that I do not have Windows.  Very pushy guy.....he kept talking....I told him not to call this number again and I hung up the phone.  These guys are trying to connect to my home computer to put a virus on it.

I received a call this morning about 8:20 EST.  Indian sounding male said he was from Windows Support and that they had been receiving  umerous error messages.  Our laptop had a bad battery and unstable pwer cord and for the past few weeks was just losing power.  So I told him before he could go on that we had just replaced the battery.  He didn't seem to understand what I meant, so I repeated myself and then told him goodbye.

we keep getting calls from the same phone number, they sound indian and say that they are calling from microsoft, and that there is a problems with windows- they want into your computer- hang up !

Friday 8:30 pm call from male Indian accent phone operator, private number, tried for 45-1 hour to access my computer.  He could not get past my anti virus.  I just hung up on him.
Sunday at 6:30 pm private number.  Same person called and I told him that Microsoft Windows does not make phone calls to customers and that there is an investigation on these phone scams.  I hung up on him again.
Monday 6:30 pm, 753-159-8624.  Same person talked to my wife.  My wife informed him that Microsoft windows does not call homes for any services and that there is an investigation on these phone scams.  He insisted that he wanted to talk, but my wife just hung up on him.
