They called, we are on the no call list.  I pressed 9 to speak to a person and tell them not to call again, when i told them that we were on the do not call list, the man said "Don't press 9 again [***]".  I refuse to let someone call my home and threaten me!!

I was not present when the call came in, and no message was left on my answering machine.  I have reported all the Card Services calls I have received in the past to the "Do Not Call" list.  I have AT&T Uverse service, which allows me to block up to 20 numbers.  I will block this number right now.

Robotic caller named Rachel calls, says she is with Card Services, but she is not calling regarding my current Visa/Mastercard. She wishes to inform me of some great rates on credit cards; if I will hit #1 key I will be transferred to the first available representative. Once the representative comes on line, I tell them (at least 20 times already) that I am on the No Call List ... some laugh, some just hang up, and one female got really testie with me, saying that when I took out my credit card, one of the conditions of the card was to allow them to contact me. I told her she was full of Sh*t, to let me talk to her supervisor. She hung up on me. Each time I ask them for their telephone #, they hang up as well. This has been going on for over 5 months now.

We are also on the U.S. no-call list.  These goons called me ~16:10 hrs, 18-Feb-2011, hung up after four rings.  With caller-ID, we are quite discriminating on whom we answer.

Card services  is what they tell and to dail 9 for a rep. I did and tried to ask to be taken off calling list, but they hung up before I could say anything, more than please take me.

Ok, if the clowns call again, pretend you are really old.  Let them start their spiel, then say hold on, your hearing aid is not working, can they talk louder?  I had one doofus shouting at the phone.

Conversely,  pretend to be confused and keep asking is this (make up a name).  Ask silly questions back at them when they try to talk to you.  As time is money, they will quit calling after a few times of you doing this.

Received a call today from this number when I was away from home, no message was left.
I don't answer calls from unknown callers.

Cons making up credit card numbers  then calling you up and telling you they can save you interest if you give them your ss# .The number i  received was 1-754-000-6532 not listed. I called credit card company i do not have a account with them.

"Rachel" must make a lot of these phone calls, as I see that her name is already mentioned in this post.  She called our number today.

WHAT GOOD IS THE "DO NOT CALL" LIST WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY LOOPHOLES THAT COMPANIES & PEOPLE USE TO GET AWAY WITH IT?  ALSO, IT SEEMS THAT THERE ARE NO REPERCUSSIONS WHEN THEY DO CALL!!!

i dont want or need this service.  stop that stupid "rachel" from calling saying "there is nothing wrong with your credit" etc.  i don't have any ~ dont want anything from this place.  s t o p  calling, period!!!

Hey, that's a darn good idea. I think I will do it next time, however, if you respond or answer a call and talk to anyone that negates the "Do Not Call" law. One thing though, I guess that would get better results than the feds or state "Do No Call' folks since they've never been able to stop these phone number "Spookfers"  They have computers that look for vacant phone numbers and then use that one all day until the phone company catches on and blocks it they they just look for another one.  I got one today with an area cod of 754 then the next one was area code 704.  I still like your idea and will do it next!

This company starts with a recorded message about lowering interest rates on credit cards.  We pressed nine to speak with a live person and told them we were reporting them to the government, and they replied to us "Like I'm really scared."

This is a scam, do not fall for it!

Same as all the other threads...Robo caller, then hang up when you confront them.  Report them to the better business bureu

They call and hang up when the answering machine comes on.  I blocked them.

phone won't even redial the number.
