Starts off by saying "remind me who the maintenance supervisor is" We don't have one so I hung up.
I think it is the same company out of Floida that sales lighting.

"The maintenance supervisor: What's his name again?"

Again?

"Yah. I spoke to him a little while ago about maintenance issues..."

Well, if you can't remember his name that's too bad, because they don't take calls unless you know their name.

HAHA...they said the same thing.  "Can you tell me the maintenence supervisor is?  I spoke to him a while ago."  The company is AIC regarding equipment maintenance.  Maintenance on what equipment?

If you were a professional co, you would have his name in the system and be more specific on the equipment.  Just put them on hold and they hung up

Lady just called - asked for the name of a salesperson who is off today.  I told he wasn't here so then she asked for the maintenance supervisor.  I just laughed and hung up.  1) why would she ask for one of our salemen 2) we don't have a maintenance dept. period  what a scam!  The caller ID said Hollywood, Fl.

office phone rings id says FLORIDA phone # 754-400-8112. Ask for maintenance supervisor name, give them managers name but not available, call back again tell them he had to leave for the day, call back again tell them again, call back again and ask for him and finally I say "this is the 4th time someone has called from this # and every time I tell them he isn't here today" and she was just like ok thanks and i hung up. If they call back I am just going to say " we have no use for maintenance supplies don't call back."

A woman calls about every other day from this number which caller ID identifies as coming from Hollywood, Florida.  The first time she asked for the name of our maintenance supervisor.  I automatically put her into VM without answering her question.  Thereafter she'll call and ask me to page this person, however, she can't even pronounce his name correctly.  She always says she's returning his call that I know is an outright lie.  This annoying person has been calling for regularly for the last couple of months.

Female caller says, "I hope you can help me." I say "sure". She asks who the Maintenance Supervisor is, which would be me. She says, "ok, thank you and have a great day." Hangs up. She never asked my name or anything. I immediately call the number back, 754-400-8112 which showed up as All Industrial on CID. Went straight to voicemail and I asked them to remove my number from their call list.

Person wanted our Maintenance Supervisor. When I explained that we can only use Corp approved vendors she stated THANKS FOR NOTHING [***] and hung up. Upon returning the call, goes straight to a voice mail.

Female caller asked for maint. supervisor. (Already knew anyone that starts a phone call like that is usually a scam or a telemarketer). I said he is unavailable at the moment may I take a message? She said yes but I need his name first before I can leave the message. I asked why do you need his name to leave a message? She called me an idiot and hung up on me.

Asked for our maintenance manager directly. I heard a lot of noise so I knew it was a sales call. I told her that he was on vacation. She asked when he was going to return I told her I didn't know. She told me "Lady you are in the wrong job". I did my favorite telemarketer thing and slammed the mouth piece of my phone on my desk hard so it would ring in her headset then hung up.

Told her to send an email to maintenance department and she hung up. Most likely SPAM.

I just got a call from this same number - when I told her that if she didn't know the maintenance manager's name - then we probably don't do business with them.  She called me rude and a stupid B!#@$ and hung up on me.   I tried calling the number back - but it is continually busy.

Started calling my office phone 4 days ago. I was never near when they called. Thanks for the info here so I know not to answer.
