Pentagoup Collection Agency, hired by holder of Wa-mu credit card business to collect debt. They use rough tactics to try to force you to pay. Do not say anything over the phone to them, they record it and will use it against you later if they can.

didn't answer this call to my cell phone when i didn't recognize the number; googled the number and found myself on this site.  Saw the name Pentagroup for this number on this site.  They have been after me for an uncollectable debt (statute of limitations expired to bring suit).  They used to call me from another number.  F&$k them.

Called for my EX. I know that this is a debt collecter. My Ex has not live here in over 2 yrs and they said they would remove my number off their records

this is penta group from virginia, they are total [***], dont talk to them no matter what message they leave.

My cell phone receives a call from this number. Sometimes no message is left. Sometimes I receive a "new voice mail" indication. When I check it, there is no actual message. It is, in effect, dead air, then the caller hangs up.

Reciecve call every night

I am not in debt and have excellent credit, yet these boneheads keep calling and calling and calling. Thankfully, my new cell phone can block them.

I think they're just calling any number they can find and they don't pay attention to the "greeting" messages or anything else. Like any "telemarketer" they're just plain stupid. Apparently they have nothing better to do with their time than to harass people who have nothing to do with them and never have.

I get so many calls from this number for 3 different people. I keep telling them wrong number and they call again on someone else. Maybe they think they might get lucky?

Next time they call, blow a whistle, and air horn or scream as loud as you can into the phone. Or even hold the phone up to the toilet and just flush it.

If you buy the air horn and they call, just answer, blast the horn into the phone, then hang up. They'll probably stop calling after a few times.

757-209-2035 is a dummy number. I found out it's out of Houston <I googled Virginia and it says number is not out of Virginia>. After filing complaint with the BBB, the BBB in Houston took over.

The harassment came from the below address. They were looking for Amber Black and her name is nothing like mine.

I received a political apology from Pentragroup, which was really no apology at all, but they claimed they'll stop bothering me.

I had told the BBB that it sounded like one of the scam debt collectors and of course, Pentragroup denied it.

Nobody can force anybody to do anything they don't want to do...just face it...you used your credit cards to by something and now you don't want to pay it back and you mad that somebody is calling you. They should be mad that they have to call you. If you gave somebody some money wouldn't you want it back?

i must recieve at least 5 phone calls a day from the above #! i have voicemail on my cell phone but it is dead air and a hangup! if they are in fact calling for a wamu credit card-- all of my credit cards have been turned over to a consumer credit counseling service! they even call on the weekends!! very very annoying! why the hell dont they just leave a voicemail????????

get several calls a day from this number. DFS shows up on the caller ID. they never leave a message. when i do answer it is just dead air. very annoying!

Why are you here Mr Payyourbills? Obviously you got a call as well.  Got some bills of your own you need to pay?  Have you ever considered some of these ruthless collectors are calling the wrong number you judgmental [***]...

That number calls my phone every 5 minutes.  No message is left but I never answer unless I know who it is.  Well, that is all I have to say.

Harassment is harassment.  It's a violation of privacy guarantees in the U.S. Constitution.  There is NO amendment to the Constitution that permits debt collectors - or anyone else - to knowingly and continuingly harass debtors.

Everyone knows you - collection agencies and their employees - are scum.  You don't like it?  Get a real job!  That way you wouldn't have to lie when people ask you what you do for a living.  Think about it!

In the meantime, get OFF this site!

they will call until phone is dead, got shot and lost my job, a couple bills went unpaid so i got put on the list, I am currently straight with all my bills, but still recieve threatening calls
