Caller ID said Smith, Lynne and since it was a VA number I thought it might be someone I know.  Wrong, it was a recording trying to sell Health and Life insurance.  Maybe listing a persons name on CID is the new way these scammers have of getting people to pick up.  Another number to the blocked caller list.

I am on National Do Not Call list... yet this number keeps calling trying to sell Insurance.

I received the same call with Lynn Smith and number identified on caller ID.  I did not answer it and they did not leave a message.  I am on the Do Not Call List  too.

I received a call yeasterday and today and the phone says Lynne Smith on my caller id. I did not pick it up. Glad to have sites like this where people let you know what these calls are all about. I am also On the do not call list.

While on an important phone call, I received a call from Lynne Smith, which by beeping was interfering with the person to whim I was speaking.  Afterwards, I Google the number to find all these comments. Thank all of you for taking the time to write about your experiences.

Ditto.  What I hope is that this is not the real number of a real person who's getting spoofed by the evil ones who do this.

This was my third call from this number with caller ID Smith Lynne.  I have reported this number to "Do No Call", as well as other calls, especially alleged March of Dimes but do not see any resolution.  I am beginning to question the value of "Do Not Call" and if they are effective, how much in fines and penalties have been levied against serious violators?
I have been on the "Do Not Call" list since its beginning.  I hope others have had better results.

This call was about Life and Health insurance for US residents 50-85 which I am not and called my work number.  I listened and if you get to the end if you press 5 it will remove your number from the calling list!!!

Spoofed phone number.  Has to be a scam to not even use their company name.

Do Not Call is a waste of Taxpayer Money.

Did receive this call around 3:20 PM, did not recognize the number therefore waited for a message to be left. No MSG was left thus I blocked the caller. Thanks to those that did ID the caller.

Just got 2 calls from this number within 20 minutes.  Did not answer 1st call, dId answer  2nd call since came up with a person's name.  Wanted to make sure someone wasn't dialing wrong number.  I along with others are sick & tired of all these junk, scam, & telemarketers calls.
