Humm, no message left.  Display says "Virginia."  Google search says Virginia Painting Contractors.  Except I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA.  Since the recent rainstorms, we've had a deluge (pun intended) of "contractors" calling to ask about our damage.  Except WE DIDN"T HAVE ANY DAMAGE.  Probably all scammers and selling our number since I foolishly answered once.

got home from seeing picasso exibit in Seattle-that number was on caller id-called "not in service" weird and scary!!!!

Just got called at 2030 dec 31, 2010. They call around midnight or later their time. Anytime I answer they just hang up. Also as above, when called it's out of service.

Happy New Year, from more low lifes. Our first call of 2011 was at 8:00 am, not from family nor friends but from "U PW" cross referenced to Picasso Painters in Norfolk, VA, which Manta shows having 1 to 4 employees. Odd. We live in New England. What's up with these scum bags ?

superpages.com came up with an active number for Picasso Painters in Norfolk, VA... 757-644-9809  full mail box and a recorded message.

Received call while not home.  Caller ID said "Picasso Painting."  I live in Florida not Virginia.  No message left on answering machine.

Received a call 1/11/11 at 10:00 a.m.  Caller ID said Picasso Painting.  When I answered, a
recorded message said they were taking a survey, at which point I hung up.  I live in Texas.

Just had a call from these, (1-1-11), the Caller ID said Picasso Painting. I'm in Wyoming. I didn't answer as I Googled the number and saw it was a nuisance call before the answer phone picked up. No message left.

Just didn't answer because my hands were full.  They left no message. They were a nuisance.

I've had two calls from these guys lately,  Last one was 9 pm NY eve - or MIDNIGHT if you are in Virginia.  My caller ID also says UP W.

I just called these guys using the number on this site and a guy answered. I played it off by asking him if he sold high end prints and if they did in-house framing.. The guy told me they don't do that so I asked what they did..very innocently. He told me that they are commercial building painters. I don't know why a local service company like painting buildings are engaged in calling nation wide at odd times of day. I have family who work in the state house here so I turned the information over to our AG who happens to be a friend. I gave him the number on this site and he said he definitely wants to know what an out of state company offering what appears to be a bogus service wants from citizens in in his states. I know this guy well..he just got elected and he's a good guy so he will get to the bottom of it. It may be nothing but strange and aggressive marketing but then again you can't be too careful.. The AG's question was why would you make any kind of marketing plan or sales call at midnight on New Years eve..good question. If you bookmark this page and check back, I will have an answer at some point..might be nothing.

I litigate this stuff for a living.  Listen, it is probably not Picasso Painting that is calling you.  Scammers use VOIP services to disguise their number so it appears someone else is calling you.  So when you call back, they get the heat.  It is highly unlikely this company is the scammers.  If you really want to know who is calling you initiate a trace through your phone company.  I am sure your AG is familar with VOIP services, and the common hell they put normal businesses through on a daily basis.

Rec'd. a call 8:00 P.M.  New Year's Day.  Since I wasn't familiar w/the caller, did not answer the phone.  They left no message.

We just got home and had a noticed a call from this number (757-248-9111) at 11:44 am, today, 1/1/11.  Caller ID listed it as V10108443000107.  Could this be the real number from an international caller?

Just received a call from 757-248-9111. Picasso Painters in Virginia Beach VA according to Bing reverse phone search.  Call came in at 8:15PM 1/1/2011 with an ID of UP W. No one on the line.

757-248-9111 just called again hung up when answered 1-2-11  8:04 am on sunday  . this is the second call from them

757-248-9111 got a call at 9:01 AM on sunday first call better be the last.  Did not leave a message why the heck they would call utah????
