They keep calling looking for someone I have never heard of. They offer PERSONAL information about that person to me. If I do not answer, they do not leave a message. This has been going on for over a year dispite the fact I have told them repeatedly I am NOT the person they are looking for. Costing money as this is a CELL phone.

I've been getting calls from this number every day for months.
I answer and it says, "please continue to hole as your call is important to us."
Yeah right. I only have one response for that type of arrogance and it sounds like a dial tone.
By the way I have no outstanding bills, never walked away from a debt and have an 840 credit rating.
Collection agency??? No way it's anything but a scam. My credit is good because I HANG-UP on these types of calls.

I answered and some guy asked for christine. I told him he must have the wrong number and he hung up. I keep getting these calls and just ignore them. He never leaves a message.

I have been getting calls from this # 757-271-1549. Crystal Mandray  is looking for a girl I have never hear of  but this Crystal chick insists this is the # they have for her. My response was  I have had this # of mine fore over 6yrs so no this couldnt be her last known #. Crystals reply was you tell miss Stephanie to call me back at 877-704-9452. I dont know this sephanie chick you are looking for and if I did why cant she call you on the # you called me from which is 757-271-1549 and the stupid [***] hung up

I got a call from them today telling me I needed an attorney and that my file was given to her and that they were going to put me on hold...I never got a real reason why she was calling me, all she daid was that she was from the Offices of CRA and that I needed to be put on hold...after being on hold for about 3 minutes, I hung up. I googled the number and THANKFULLY came to this website...this is definitely a scam folks!!!

I have now recieved 2 phone calls from this so called CRA company....the person calling stated her name was Adrianna and she had my real name, not somebody else's.... I think this is a scam big time and they are getting smarter!!

These people are calling my cell asking for me using my first husbands last name. The kicker is my phone is in my brothers name...how in the world did they put that name with that cell number...kinda scary actually.

just got a call from these idiots. the dumb broad stated the name of the company and that she was calling me because paperwork with my name and social security number came to her supervisors attention and her supervisor told her to call me.... so I say "alright, what is this about", she says "i can't tell you" so i'm like "ok... so why are YOU calling me?" and then she gets all butthurt about it and tells me there is no reason to be rude, so I tell her "ummm... you're being [***]" and hung up on her.

I hope they call back, I love playing with these people :)

i just got a call from 757-271-1549 on my cell asking for me. i stated that i wasn't available and she said to call her back at 1-877-704-9452 and ask for Valerie. so i was confused as to someone got my cell number because it isn't in my name and it had to be something on the web that i must have given my cell number to. how do i get my name removed??

This "company" buys debt for pennies on the dollar that are past the statute of limitations. If you want them to stop calling you, your best bet is to do so in writing.

I received a call from this number today.  I am trying to find a job so I thought maybe it could be an HR dept so I waited.  After about 3 minutes a female came on the phone asked me to verify my name and number and the last digits of my social security number.  I told her I would prefer not to verify information until she told me the name of the company and reason for the call.  The company name she used was commercial recovery systems and this was to collect a debt and that when she got me on the phone she was to transfer my call to her supervisor.  So I waited.  A very intimidating voiced man, named Mr. Gibson got on the phone and basically started in on me.  I tried to ask a question he told me I wasn't allowing him to speak and I needed to be quiet so he can talk.  He told me I owed him money and he was going to report this to the IRS and issue a 1099C form then I would owe the IRS and have to pay them interest and the IRS would put a lien against me.  He was using a lot of wording that I didnt not understand so I looked it all up AND called the IRS.  The IRS was great they said I needed to wait until I got the form and just report it to them.  They said to check with your local state guidelines for statute of limitations on collecting for a debt, ect.  That is one thing he did say was that they were trying to collect on a debt that was over 8 years old and they would get the money because I owed it to them.  This was a debt that should have been taken care of 8 years ago as it was with a cellular phone company and I moved out of their calling area so they said the contract would be cancelled and no further action on my part would be necessary.  My lesson in all of this is GET IT IN WRITING!  I hope this helps someone, I can say I will not be intimidated and I will follow through on this!

HOWEVER, I went ahead and checked my credit report (all 3 of them) and I have NO DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS WHATSOEVER. The only one I had that's still in the report is 5 years old and it WAS settled and paid. I'm assuming they got the information from my credit report and went by the debt that's ALREADY PAID AND 5 YEARS OLD to try and collect money from me.

HOWEVER, I went ahead and checked all my credit reports (all 3 of them) and guess what???? I have NO DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS WHATSOEVER. The only one I did had on the reports is not only 5 years old, it was SETTLED AND PAID. I'm assuming they're randomly checking people's credit reports  to try and collect money from them.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO, FOLKS!!!!  I'M CALLING EXPERIAN NOW!

Got a call today on my cell and at my work from (757) 271-1549. I wasn't at work yet and didn't answer on my cell but a message was left. It was a woman named "Crystal Madray" calling from the office of CRA and she was calling to speak to me or my representative immediately. She gave a reference number that she said she was calling in response to.
Something felt weird so I got online to look these guys up before calling back. I'm glad I came across this site. There's no chance of me returning their calls.
I noticed someone above mentioned that they're a company that buys debt for pennies on the dollar but I have no debt to buy.

then they're probably contacting you to get information about somebody they are looking to screw over. they even call and harass you if you HAD a debt at one point and paid it off.

These people call at all hours and ask for someone else.  I have put my phone on fax so they will get an earful of beeping.  It does not seem to matter.  They still call.

These people keep calling me over and over again.  I am getting very tired of this!!!
