dont call ask me for my name, ask me for my SSI#.....I do not give out information on the phone.....put it in writing......low bottom feeder must be you will not tell me  who you are so I no longer take your calls.. so you call again and I get:call away....your msg music pls continue to hold....more music...continue to hold we will be with you shortly.....and it repeats its self over and over and over again....then a rude person says HELLO I need to speak with*/*/*/** and hangs up......you do not say the name of the company. so I am just filing in your state with Atty general so I can get your name & address CEASE & DECEASE ltr to stop......

Called me as well - Consumer Recovery  Associates, Inc. Wont identify what they are calling for so I told them to screw off and mail me what ever it is they trying to call for.

I got called by the same #. I just let it ring and they left me a message say her name was Dottie and that she needed me to call her at 877-394-0395. I'm supose to call her or somebody who rep's me because she got some serious info in the office that she needs to make me aware of.
Does anybody have any info on this????

just had someone call me asking for a son of mine who does not live with me.  Asked him what this was for and "mr. jerk idiot" said that it was for some important paper work.  What kind, not at liberty to say. Then what company, no need to say was his reply. Since he did not give me any info, then do not call my number, I'm a third party if this is the case. He said that for me to not put any demands on him. Hung up.

Note:  Please be advised that if you are aware of third party rights according to the FTC, under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Title VIII Debt Collection Practices Act § 804(3): They are supposed to contact you once to verify of the party they are trying to contact of his address or phone number and to relay the message of returning their call.  If you are assuming that they are a Debt Collector so under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, put them on notice and if they contact you again, find their address and send them a written notice. Hope this helps.

Or if you have caller ID and do not recognize the number, don't answer!

CRA is a collection agency.

Just get your credit cleaned.  They won't ever call again.  They are illegally trying to collect money from you.  You never signed anything from them, therefore you don't have to pay it.  You may have signed something originally with the creditor, but the creditor sold your information and received money from them to collect the debt.  The original creditor does not own your account anymore.  When you clean your credit.  It gets erased from you credit report, and the collection agency cannot any longer receive money from you.  Technically, and legally you can take them to court for harassment, because you never signed anything that would make you have to pay them for your debt.

Just an FYI.

I reseaved a Harrasing call from them yelling and screaming at me I tried to tell them that I'm disablied and he said it don't matter. I went on to tell him that he don't need to call my house screaming at me. Does anyone know how to go about reporting this company?

Got a call from this number today.  They need to leave my alone.  If I don't know who's calling I don't answer.  Good luck trying to get a hold of me.

This number called my cell (which I have not given the number to anyone outside family and friends) - automated message asked me to hold, hold music for a few seconds, then the message again, followed immediately by "goodbye" and a hang up. Total call time was 18 seconds for absolutely nothing.

This company needs to be stoped calling everyone and telling them that they have some serious info its a scam and a A.G needs to step in

They called and said they needed ti speak with me or whomever is representing me. They claimed they had info about my case that  we need to know. If I had a lawyer for anything you should not be contacting the client! Glad I didn't fall for that one!

"When you clean your credit. It  gets erased from your credit report" is completely false. "Cleaning" credit is nonsensical. Debt is removed when you pay  or after 7 years for most debts though you may have to contact credit agencies to do it.

the message said they were from Cra and that myself or my representative must call them back today.I took this as a threat and as harassment. Needless to say i have caller id, that was the last time they will bother me.

i got a call from this # the other day on my cell..some lady said her name was donna asked for me by my full name first middle and last also gave the name of an old employer i use to work for when i was like 18-19yrs old(27 now) and my SS# said to call her at 877-394-0395. so i called to see what it was the lady that answered would not put the lady on the line that called me she took the call..she advised me that i owed chase and u.s bank lol i told her i owed nothing and i'm not paying she continued on with collection efforts stating i can settle with her for $3000.00 of what was owed i refused she then stated she's going to note it as a refusal to pay and send it to the IRS(once again hilarious)i then hung up..called back the next day some rude "[***]" answers after being on hold forever he went through my info again i asked for info on company so i can mail a validation notification letter he gets rude and tells me well you already refused payment and thats what we documented and sent it over to the IRS you have a good day and hung up..(hilarious again)little did they know i now own a collection agency for a FDCPA BROKEN LAW i'm very educated and also engaged to an attorney/partner in a very no nonsense havent lost a case yet law firm and a family full of lawyers, officers of the law and wardents in prison facilities(YOU CALLED THE WRONG CELL MESSING WITH ME)it will be a cold day in hell before i come off with my info and all you can give me back is my name an old employer and my SS# stating i owe money C.R.A YOU HAVE BROKEN JUST ABOUT EVERY FDCPA LAW KNOWN TO MAN AND MY ATTORNEY WILL BE CONTACTING YOU VERY SOON SO IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED MONEY FROM SOMEONE BE PREPARED TO WRITE A CHECK FOR MY BANK ACCT AND I'M NOT OFFERING ANY SETTLEMENTS BUT LOOKING FORWARD TO OWNING YOU NEXT!!!!!

I received a call from this number today on my cell. I only have provided this number to family and friends as well. I too, only answer to known numbers. They didn't leave a message. I tend to just tell unknown numbers they have the wrong phone number. Usually the calls stop, but thats on a good day :)
